Hagerstown, MD Hip-Hop Comp Disc Vol1 album
$8.75 At this stage of her career Mariah Carey does not need to prove herself, but her voice is so powerful that with each new recording she, once again, reminds you: "Listen to what I can do." Vocal gymnastics and Christmas songs are not often thought of as a compatible combination, but on MERRY CHRISTMAS Mariah jumps, climbs, crawls, twirls and dashes her way through both traditional fare and original Christmas songs.
She shifts through styles, offering fans from all musical camps a gift of their own. Her "Silent Night" shows off a studied vocalization where liquid phrasing is key. "Miss You Most (At Christmas Time)" shows off a dynamic ...

| | Clipse Til The Casket Drops CD (2009)
Hagerstown, MD Hip-Hop Comp Disc Vol1 songs
$9.58 Had Clipse made a concerted attempt to outstrip Hell Hath No Fury, Til the Casket Drops would have likely come out sounding like self-parody. The Thorntons' previous set was so cold, lean, and efficient, the product of the circumstances under which it was made, that it is impossible to imagine an album of identical makeup trumping it. So, for the most part, Pusha T and Malice approached their third album -- their first for Columbia ...

| | Young Shorty I'm Back CD (2005)
Hagerstown, MD Hip-Hop Comp Disc Vol1 music CDs
$16.45 Young Shorty is one of many new hardcore female MCs that are making their names heard in the under ground world of internet hip hop. Although the skin sexuality that premeates through most of hip hop images today is definitely not one of her major concerns Young Shorty is instead making her name as a tough, raw, keeping it real gangsta type rapper with a leaning towards a hardcore attitude with the lyrica skills to pull it off. Born Joann Smith, November 11, 1979 in Louisville, Kentucky, she learned at an early age that she was special when it came to performing. But like all things that are good there is a natural development that occurs and Young Shorty development began shortly after her family moved to Owensboro, Ky., after her birth. At the tender age of thirteen Shorty knew that her interest in hip hop was more that casual and she started djing at local house parties playing the hottest hip hop hits. Her popularity began to grow as she started to rap at the parties and winning talent shows around town. That taste of local notoriety convinced her to enter into the Miss Black Expo in August of 1997 and she won hands down showcasing her rapping skills performing original material. Young Shorty return to her birth place (Louisville, KY.) began in high school in Owensboro where she was a stand out basketball player. Her ball playing skills gained her recognition as athlete of the week, named to the girls All-Star Kentucky team, all city and all regional player. Her basketball exploits ...
