| | Ashley Farrell Hear Me Out! CD Ashley Farrell Discography of CDs
Born in New York 25 years ago, Ashley Farrell always wanted to sing. Performing since a child at talents shows and church events, she obtained a passion for the spotlight. Over the years she has performed at various venues across the country. She has had the blessed privilege of performing with the Hearts Afire Worship Team along the East coast during the summer of 2000. In April 2002, while attending Berklee College of Music (where she received a BA in Songwriting) she performed with the well-known Christian recording artist Jeff Deyo. Ashley's second home is in the recording studio. She has recorded for many different projects and labels including:-Hear Me Out!: Ashley Farrell (LP) Caveman Music, MA-The Runway: David Hoffman (LP) Ferocious Records, MA-Break Our Hearts: Hearts Afire Worship Team (LP) South Studios, PA-Hearts Afire Worship Team (LP) South Studios, PA-Innocence with an Edge (EP) Nastasi Sound Productions, NYShe has recorded a number of singles and various demos and is currently working on some new material. In the summer of 2005, she relocated to Nashville, playing local venues and co-writing. Just weeks later, she signed with SESAC as one of their writers. In the fall of 2005, she had the privilege of performing with Warner Chappell writer Heather Morgan at a local venue. The few months leading up to her wedding in May of 2006, and for almost a year after, she took a break from the music scene. She focused her time on her husband, growing closer to him and to the Lord. "Over the past couple of years, I've had a musical mind shift," Ashley says. "Before, it was all about me. How I wanted to be successful and be the next big thing. But, I've realized that it's not about me at all. God has blessed me with this amazing gift of music. My prayer is that He'll be glorified through everything I say, sing, write and do. 'Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things. ' Psalm 98:1"Ashley desires not only to be heard on radio stations across the world, but she wants to be involved in ministries and other avenues, where she can use her gifts to edify the body of Christ, bring healing to a hurting world, and above all give glory to God. She and her husband just moved back to Boston and look forward to all the things God has in store for them. Hear Me Out! $16.45 Brother Rock is a life-time labor of love. Randy Gabbard, the band's founder and co-producer, has been playing professionally since the 70's in bands opening for the likes of Cheap Trick, Molly Hatchet, and the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Hailing from Cincinnati, Randy has been making music for the majority of his life. Still, every band, every gig from then until now, has been a warm up for this band and this time. The right hand man is Andy Gerome, guitarist-vocalist from Cleveland, OH, and a one-time member of legendary Savoy Brown. Andy is himself a musician/vocalist/composer for television and movies. Rockin' like breathin', Andy is so natural it's almost scary, as a member of Brother Rock and with his solo project. On drums BroRock has Ron Presley another Clevelander, only this time the Cleveland is in Georgia. Later Ron's family moved to Paducah, Ky, where he started playing drums in the school band and church. After graduation the young drummer played in local bands until moving to Nashville. In Music City, Ron helped found Valhalla, One ...

Hear Me Out! music CDs
$11.39 For those unfamiliar with the local music scene in Long Island, New York (circa the early 21st century), it's one that appears to be split evenly between older groups that hone in on crowd pleasing covers, while the younger outfits are usually in the emo, hardcore, or punk vein. But of course, there are exceptions to the rule, such as Iridesense. Slugging it out since the early '90s, the group has carved a niche for itself with their tuneful pop/rock, which is very much in the vein of such renowned chart-topping artists as Michelle Branch and Nelly Furtado (due largely to the melodic vocals of Tara Eberle). And, as evidenced by their sophomore effort, 2002's Iridesense, the group is every bit as good (if not better). You'd think that a major label would swoop in and sign the quartet, as such tracks as "Obvious" and "Love or Hate" have no problem fitting into the current pop landscape. Iridesense is highly recommended to fans of the aforementioned acts. ~ Greg Prato

Hear Me Out! songs
$11.49 Over the Edge is a superb ten-song collection of close to 46 minutes of album rock from the latter end of the 1980s, AOR metal with hooks and clever twists that bring it a cut above the expected fare the plethora of hair bands gave the audience in that era. With the same irreverent fun that made Ratt's "Round & Round" so listenable, the songs here venture from the three- to five-minute range, whipped into shape with superb riffing behind a heavy chorus and Kelly Hansen's very on-target vocals. When you listen to Hansen sing the hits of Foreigner 18 years later on the Alive & Rockin' DVD it is like tuning in to a Doors' clone band when the real thing is preferable -- and in Foreigner's case, potentially available. The problem with Hansen's version of Foreigner is that the new lineup would be better off re-exploring some of the songs the new players were affiliated with, most notably the material on this exemplary disc. "Messin' with a Hurricane" is inspired rock & roll, rising above the metal trappings with solid beats and some guitar majesty from Robert Sarzo, yes, the brother of Quiet Riot's Rudy Sarzo, just as bassist Tony Cavazo is the brother of Quiet Riot's Carlos Cavazo. Hurricane is Quiet Riot without the sneer; no-nonsense metal produced by Mike Clink a year after ...
