Who is AMRA? (answer): AMRA is contained energy; created to cause spasmatic vibrations that stimulate the central nervous center of the soul. AMRA represents virtual motion that propels the human psychie above and beyond, using lethal sounds of electronic alchemy. AMRA was formed by midwest jazz keyboardist, arranger, composer and producer, Ray Bozeman who has over 15 years experience as a jazz pianist/ sideman in the jazz & theatrical venue, along with 2 independent film scores to his credit, and having composed over 200 original compositions has combined his passion for film & new experimental music styles into a pulsative sound entree that delivers the energy just when you need it.The music on this CD can be experienced in many personal formats where up tempo is the desired effect. The lengthy tracks were purposely designed to allow for long uninterupted transonic states of consciousness. IF you are ready to enter into zero gravity altitude, check out AMRA. Metal Sky album
$5.99 The finest example of perfect disco pop, and a record that should be prescribed to musical snobs and manic depressives. The album is a true ambassador of what pop music can be. Jackson whoops and dances through a suite of unforgettable melodies that should be danced to with a smile on your face. Each track offers at least one musical hook, whether it is the beauty of 'Human Nature' (who can resist the 'dada dada da ...
| | Melanie Fiona Bridge CD (2009)
Metal Sky CD music
$9.99 Melanie Fiona's debut single, "Give It to Me Right," was a perfect 2009 pop-R&B recording. The single coupled a timeless classic (the Zombies' "Time of the Season") with roof-raising vocals and infectious pop hooks that stuck like peanut butter. Fiona's single was perfect, albeit a touch formulaic. Because of this, it's no surprise that a large chunk of her debut album, THE BRIDGE, is much of the same. Like any good 2009 pop-soul recording, the album offers influences from decades of soul music. Fiona, a Kanye West protégé, collaborates with about as many styles of music as she has producers and writers, who include most prominently Canadian R&B singer-songwriter Andrea Martin, Rob Fusari, ...

It's always a sign that a group is hot if they release a holiday album mere months after their debut. That's the case with *NSYNC. Their debut was released in America in late March, and in early December, Home for Christmas hit the shelves. Much of the album is devoted to newer material, with only a handful of songs qualifying as standards: "The Christmas Song," "The First Noel," and "O Holy Night." All of it is given the familiar *NSYNC sheen, alternating between slickly produced adult contemporary ballads ...
| | Chris Brown Graffiti CD (2009)
Metal Sky songs
$11.18 Most of Graffiti is a natural progression for Chris Brown. Like many young cred-seeking male singers who have just exited their teenage years, Brown emphasizes womanizing and hedonism and balances it out with a couple clean and empty ballads, as well as a couple relatively lighthearted Europop numbers. A handful of songs deal with his relationship with Rihanna, as well as the fallout from his assault of her. ~ Andy Kellman
Most of Graffiti -- that is, the songs that do not detail what ex-girlfriend Rihanna and the rest of the world have done to him -- is a natural progression for Chris Brown. Like many young cred-seeking male singers who have just exited their teenage years, Brown clumsily emphasizes womanizing and hedonism and balances it out with a couple clean and empty ballads. Out of this portion of the album, only a couple songs leave a lasting impression, and when they do, the silly things that come out of Brown's mouth tend to be the reason; take "As stingy as you are, I think you ready," part of "Take My Time"'s chorus and hopefully no woman's idea of an effective bedroom line. A two-track patch of gloopy and gawky Europop, where he's on slightly better behavior, is at least more tolerable than the inane chest-puffing, but nothing comes close to the big singles from Brown's first two releases. The rest of this ...

| | Maxwell Blacksummers' Night CD (2009)
Metal Sky CD music
$8.49 It's been eight long years between Maxwell's third and fourth studio albums. BLACKSUMMERS'NIGHT is the first release of a trilogy, with BLACKSUMMERS'NIGHT(rooted in gospel, with a twist, apparently) and BLACKSUMMERS'NIGHT(promised as a disc of slow jams) to follow. Just as Maxwell arrived in 1996, offering an alternative to the exaggerated masculinity that was dominating contemporary R&B, he returns when ...
