Northern Arizona University. 1994. Sutton and Milo start a band. They call it Soul Cracker. Guy with a mullet joins. Great with the slap bass. But he quits to become a scientist. Bob joins to play bongos. Then Matt Johnson on bass. Milo quits. Bob plays drums in his stead. AP, Bob's friend from high school, joins. AP plays bass and guitar. AP starts to switch duties with Matt, who plays sax as well. Taylor joins and plays percussion. Sutton then invites Beastie, who lives across from Bob, to sing for the band. Beastie is also the only one who can dance. Soul Cracker starts playing bars, parties, etc. around Flagstaff. Band starts to build a following. Becomes well known for jamming for hours on end, playing mostly white-boy funk. Band records their debut, 5.5.1995. After almost dying in a knife fight at Buzzard's Gulch, Taylor Quits.1996-1997.
