Blues NETTworkIn spring 1997 the two devoted „Bluesbrothers“, Cla and Jachen C. Nett, met Fabio Bianchi and Andy Lang at a Jam-Session at a local bar of their hometown. They soon realized that they all had similar ideas and concepts about the sort of music they wanted to play. They had listened to the same records and songs, had visited the same concerts, and had thus developed the same feeling for music. The heat was on from the start and the four Blues-fans decided to found the band Blues NETTwork and play the Blues. Cla Nett was founder, band-leader and guitar player of the Lazy Poker Bluesband and has been an important and well-known figure in the Swiss Blues Scene for over 30 years. For his commitment he received the Swiss Blues Award in April 2004. His brother Jachen Nett enhances the formation with his unique mastering of the harp. He has played in many local bands and projects apart from his short engagement with the Lazy Poker Bluesband.Percussionist and drummer Andy Lang and tuba player Fabio Bianchi have collected enriching experiences in many Rock and Blues bands in the area. With their rather special choice of instruments they guarantee the unique sound of Blues NETTwork. The NETTwork lowplugged-electroacoustic-Mississippi-swamp-trash-Blues is a musical mixture of Delta Blues, Cajun and Country, flavored with the clear tunes of Chicago Blues, Swing and Rock’n’Roll. For the four Blues lovers it was clear from the start that they didn’t want to be just another cover formation. They wanted a style of their own. By reducing their music to mostly acoustic instruments, interpreting non-standard songs and composing songs of their own, Blues NETTwork developed a musical concept that doesn’t fit into any cluster. And besides, Blues NETTwork is an experienced live band and always ready to thrill an audience. From disco and dance freaks to elder Dixie cats, everybody falls for the unique sound of Blues NETTwork.www.bluesnettwork.ch Hotter Than Hell Music | Category | Blues Albums | | Label | CD Baby | | CD Universe Part number | 7213564 | | Catalog number | 4855 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Feb 28, 2006 |

Hotter Than Hell songs
$6.59 Comprising the same lineup as Street Corner Talking, Savoy Brown released Hellbound Train a year later. For this effort, Kim Simmonds' guitar theatrics are toned down a bit and the rest of the band seems to be a little less vivid and passionate with their music. The songs are still draped with Savoy Brown's sleek, bluesy feel, but the deep-rooted blues essence that so easily emerged from their last album doesn't rise as ...

| | Bill Magee Blues Band Low Down Dirty Blues CD (2005)
Hotter Than Hell CD music
$15.19 Born in Collins, the back woods of Mississippi in 1943, Willie (Bill) Magee grew up loving music, listening to Muddy Waters, Elmore James, and B.B. King on his Father's small radio. Life was difficult and Willie experienced many hard knocks. His mother died when he was four years old and his father followed when he was just thirteen. Taken from his parentless home, his older brother Deloy moved him to his tiny one room flat in Ithaca, New York. Determined to finish high school, Willie concentrated on his studies while Deloy worked hard to support him.At the Community Center Willie met guitarist Butch Rosenberg and his focus turned to music. As the friendship grew, they spent many hours listening to R&B and Rock and Roll, especially the blues guitars of B.B. King and Muddy Waters. With a part time job at a Department store Willie managed to save for his first guitar...a $29.99 Montgomery Ward special, much to the chagrin of his brother. Willie promised Deloy that some day he would play the Apollo Theater.A year of solid practice brought Willie to join his first local band and at age fourteen music became his life. Working with various local bands he soon was earning money, and also managed to graduate from High School...the first in his family to do so. His ambition is to become the best guitarist in the country!!!Moving to the Big Apple, he rented a flat in Harlem directly across from the Apollo Theater and dreamed of having his name on the marquee. Before long he was working seven nights a week and he decided to check out the King Curtis Band at the Small Paradise Club. Asking to sit in, he played three songs when the regular guitarist joined in. The air was electric as the guitarists traded ...
