| | Rachel Kamps New Horizons CD Rachel Kamps Discography of CDs
This second cd was inspired and created as I made my way through uncertain times. The new horizons were interior landscapes that were colored by anticipation and dissapointment. Life choices (hard ones I admit) were made through the creation of these songs. The music that expressed itself the through this album is softly melancholy, searching, haunting, but ultimately soothing in conclusion. Hopefully you'll find this album to be somewhat reflective and inspirational in a gentle sort of way.Thank you for listening.Rachel Kamps Rachel Kamps New Horizons Songs | 1. | Beyond Words |

Sinatra's years on the Capitol label (1953-60) were great years. His voice had matured into a powerful and poignant instrument; his sense of swing was infallible; and he was blessed with an innovative and sophisticated arranger, Nelson Riddle, whose charts fit Sinatra like a beautiful suit.

| | 5 Years Of Hyperdub CDs (2009)
New Horizons CD music
$20.19 09 collection marking the Hyperdub label’s fifth anniversary. CD1 has new recordings by the likes of Burial, Cooly G, Darkstar, Flying Lotus, Ikonika, Joker & Ginz, King Midas Sound & more. CD2 features unreleased tracks, rarities & vinyl only 12 inches from label’s back catalogue, many making their first ever appearance on CD. 32 tracks.
Not to slight other dubstep-rooted labels productive from 2005 through 2009--Tectonic, Deep Medi, Hessle Audio--but this half-new/half-retrospective set supplies all the evidence necessary in determining the form's supreme source. Released to acknowledge the fifth anniversary of Kode9's Hyperdub, these two discs, assembled in the wake of 30-plus 12" releases and three albums, should be the starting point for anyone late to the party. There is a slight catch, though: only a fraction of the contents is truly dubstep. In short, dubstep extends and mutates dub, drum'n'bass, U.K. garage, and grime in various permutations. That the first disc contains the new material speaks to the ...

$38.09 Flat Earth Society, a 20-member rock ensemble, is one of the many projects of brilliant eccentric Mike Patton. ISMS shows what the Flat Earth Society is all about.
Love him or hate him, Mike Patton has very eclectic taste in music, and he's putting his money where his mouth is with the Ipecac label. Earlier in 2004, he had licensed Eyvind Kang's beautiful Virginal Co Ordinates from the Italian I Dischi di Angelica label, now he turns to Belgium (!) to give wider exposure to the Flat Earth Society, a progressive big band formed from two defunct Belgian groups, X-Legged Sally and Fukkeduk. The resulting album, Isms, draws from their four prior releases and presents a band ...

| | Lynette Diaz Lyrics In My Head CD (2008) (Import)
New Horizons CD music
$16.69 Lynette grew up in the high desert of New Mexico and brings to her music the fiery passion of her Mexican-American roots, along with a sense of adventure forged from years living abroad, including three continents before settling in New Zealand. In December 2006, Lynette picked out a guitar in a music store. After a few informal lessons from a friend, and the determination to \'finally\' learn guitar, Lynette began writing music a few months later.\"I was absolutely frustrated learning covers, as I had so much to say, so many words that were internalized up until I found the right vehicle to let them out.\"The 14-tracks on her debut cd release, ‘Lyrics In My Head’ are a testament to a long journey of self-discovery. The tracks resonate with the universal pangs of heartbreak, loss, growth, new-found clarity, love and joy. The songs are powerful, yet subtle. Easing their way into your heart and mind through the pureness of the message and the honest vocal delivery.\"My music is personal, but I believe the messages are universal. Each song is heart-driven, by which I mean that I never pick up a guitar with the intention to write a certain way or a certain theme. The ...
