His passion for his culture and experiences from growing up in the Lower East Side of New York City are easily reflected in his music. Raised in the very tough Avenue-D projects M.E.R.G.E has endured extremely difficult times in his life but as a strong latino brother he is determined to overcome them. He has lost both of his parents, pops to cancer and his moms to diabetes and heart failure. He has survived a stabbing, collapsed lung, fractured skull and has risen from the ashes to take the world by storm. He takes great pride in his writing. M.E.R.G.E does not compromise in his creativity, which can be easily heard in the music that he creates. M.E.R.G.E has a presence that shines on any stage he performs on. Currently, M.E.R.G.E has released his EP on vinyl that is being used to service D.J's across the country and throughout Europe. His hit underground banger titled "Destined For Glory" is being featured in the soundtrack for the upcoming independent film "Diamonds In Da Rough." Knowing all the time a vast majority are felons who cant vote so the ones who don't have felonies have to fight for them. So in return felons whose lives have been altered with no forgiveness to ever be a productive member of society to live as an out cast. Can only do one thing fight physically so if you are being held back like a slave hear the words of( Nat Turnya) and fight back against your oppressors you don't have anything if your not free don't ever be afraid to die. Let me explain myself so every one can understand how I became, "NAT". It is short for Nat Turnya coming from the slave revolt leader in the 1800's called Nat Turner. Some call it the first war for freedom. I come from a long line of fighting men going back 5 and 6th generations and just like their contributions there was no respect given back ,no nothing, not even recognition for having their life in limbo. My great, great grandad was a slave who fought in the civil war for the south without a gun, that's right with no gun, never was going to pick up any rank, but had the most dangerous job in the military. He was a scout( meaning without any arms was sent to go and find the enemy and report back with your life in tact)to go hunt for prey in a uniform you know that was crazy with out any way to protect his self but a ax handle, but ...
