Clark Kent now carries a full load of classes at Central Kansas U., but that's not all he carries. He carries the full weight of his - perhaps the world's - destiny. "We call this season Superman in Training," series co-creator Alfred Gough says. "Clark is going to accept his destiny." During this exciting pivotal season: The Fortress of Solitude rises. Clark faces rogue Kryptonians. Lex Luthor launches a vicious political campaign. A dark tragedy - one even Clark's powers can't prevent - strikes. These and more key elements of Superman lore fall into place. The future Man of Steel grows another year bolder in this bonus-packed Deluxe 6-Disc DVD Set.
The young Clark Kent (Tom Welling) is once again faced with innumerable problems in this fifth season of SMALLVILLE. The first show begins with Clark facing a difficult decision in the Fortress of Solitude, as he is given the choice of saving Chloe's (Allison Mack) life or saving the planet. As the program progresses Clark finds himself undergoing life-changing challenges as he is stripped of his powers, possessed by the spirit of a girl, and forced to face up to Lana's (Kristin Kreuk) new relationship. As ever, Clark manfully struggles to keep his superhero identity a secret throughout while also facing growing pains familiar to teenagers across the globe. This release contains every episode from the fifth season of the show.

Smallville in Hi-Def I love this show... but I really love it in HD! If you haven't seen it in HD then you haven't really seen it. The show is shot in High Definition and the HD-DVD really allows it to shine! They should release all the seasons in this format. I watch it on my Xbox 360 add-on player and I couldn't be more satisfied. Now if I could only get C.S.I.:Miami on HD-Dvd... Submitted by spawn1031 (Brooklyn, N.Y.) Was This Review Helpful? $34.55 Created by successful television producer J.J. Abrams (FELICITY, ALIAS), LOST became one of the most popular and critically acclaimed programs of the 2004-2005 season. Utilizing a ripe premise and well-drawn and acted characters, LOST attracted a huge following and was proclaimed the saving grace of a television year otherwise marred by derivative reality programming. The story concerns the survivors of a terrible plane crash, who find themselves stranded on a tropical island with seemingly little chance of a rescue. Medical doctor Jack takes a position of leadership, helping to rally the survivors and prepare them for a period of difficulty as they learn how to survive on the island. But everything is not as it seems: the island offers potential danger in the form of a large, mysterious creature, and ...
