Dream Lover songs
$11.18 (MP3 Available for Download) With Adam Lambert, American Idol finally got a finalist who was completely, utterly contemporary, aware of what's hip in music and culture and aware of how music is made and consumed in 2009, never seeming to try to follow fads or set trends, just embodying the time. Mercifully, he came in second to Kris Allen, for if he came in first he may have had to tame his self-styled glamazon ways. A second place finish allowed Lambert to come out of the closet and indulge in his penchant for theater on his debut, For Your Entertainment -- which isn't quite the same thing as camp, for if Adam Lambert is anything, he's earnest about his dress-up, never winking at the audience because he doesn't think there's much funny about his glitter and mascara: that's just what pop stars are supposed to do. He's learned that by listening to his stacks of Queen and Bowie records, from watching old MTV videos on YouTube, from living in a present that always competes with the ever-present past, so he takes it all at face value, mixing up arena rock guitars, new wave, disco, operatic overdubs with a constant electro pulse, glassy modern R&B, and the vague Euro strains of new millennium teen pop. All this makes For Your Entertainment very, very modern in a way few mainstream pop albums are in 2009, whether they're products of the American Idol/19 machine or not: Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Rivers Cuomo, P!nk, Lady GaGa, Linda Perry, Ryan Tedder, Muse's Matthew Bellamy, and Justin Hawkins of the Darkness all elbow each other for space here, creating cheerful ...

Dream Lover album
$24.09 Those who aren't familiar with the work of seminal 1980s band The Talking Heads may find themselves becoming instant fans after viewing this incredibly entertaining concert film. It starts with David Byrne stepping out alone on empty stage with an acoustic guitar to sing "Psycho Killer." The rest of the musicians follow one by one and the stage gradually fills to bursting with powerful, tightly orchestrated brilliance. Director Jonathan Demme (SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, PHILADEPLPHIA) ...

Dream Lover CD music
$15.55 Bon Jovi's 2007 effort, LOST HIGHWAY, found New Jersey's finest brandishing a Nashville-tinged, commercial rock/country crossover sound that wasn't too far a stretch from their usual arena rocking anthems for the Everyman. And where that album sometimes tried too hard to fit into ...

| | PhD Steven Gurgevich Healing Mind: Healing Body CD (2003)
Dream Lover songs
$22.75 "Healing Mind:Healing Body" is a very special audio. It performs a deeper healing of wounds that may have occurred out of stresses experienced minutes ago to years ago. Our life experiences are a collection of emotional reactions (good and not-so-good) that influence patterns of behavior and body conditioning. That is, every experience we collect on this road of life has an emotional and physical impact upon our mind and body. Our bodies accumulate a form of learning (called "conditioning") that subconsciously replays a pattern of stress-induced responses over and over, without our conscious awareness of where and why our body learned to do this. For example, we might develop headaches, upper or lower GI symptoms, asthma, skin reactions, anxiety, etc because of situations and circumstances that were or are beyond our control. As we handle those stressful or emotional events, we do our best to put those stresses "out of mind" but that doesn't necessarily put them "out of body." In fact, our body will remember its response to those stresses (and other stresses) until we un-learn the response by re-learning something healthier and more comfortable. That is where this audio program goes into action. "Healing Mind:Healing Body" guides you into a lovely trance and refreshing relaxation response wherein ...

Dream Lover MP3 Album
$21.49 You are Frank Sinatra admiring the sun shimmering on the swimming pool. You climb the ladder, execute a perfect double flip and realize the pool has been drained. How would you express your reaction in jazz?TRAVELLING IN CURVES sketches the ebb and flow of reactions to the surprises, challenges and pleasures of daily life. Whispers of anticipation open to pools of certainty; clouds of doubt break in sweeps of exhilaration. The tunes on this album thrive on the creative tension created by mixing the familiar and the unexpected. Blues, ballad and Spanish-inflected melodies develop through surprising turns of time, form, and harmony. For Robert McFadden (guitar), stretching forms and conventions has always been an essential part of the creative process. Described by Gay Delorme (Frank Zappa, k.d. laing) as “seriously bent; way hip”, Robert’s music has been presented in theatres, clubs and galleries across Canada and Europe. Zakari Frantz (saxophone) has quickly earned a reputation as a versatile and lyrical reed player sharing the stage with artists such as Femi Anikulapo Kuti, Dele Sosimi and Joe Sealy . Zakari has played to great acclaim with the Soul Jazz Orchestra ...
