Given it's age sounds great, even though in mono. Is especially good when played in the SACD layer. Only lists 23 tracks on the outer sleeve but contains 24 tracks, the 24 being 'Lucille'.

...but Little Richard was, without a doubt, the black king of rock & roll! Or queen, depending on how deep you criticize his personality. This music is the hottest vibe to touch human ears since the torching of Sodom & Gommorah. Every song is a winner. I've never heard such an explosion created by a drummer, sax player, bassist, and vocalist ever, except only by Little Richard. He shaped the face of music in the '50's and every generation since have been the wise benefactors of an undeniable master of the trade. Grandpa will feel like 21 all over again if you score him this cd for Christmas, or sooner. Timeless R&R without the nickz & gashes of a pointless video!!!

I can't understand how anyone could create a Little Richard set with 23 songs and NOT include "Lucille", the single favorite song of Mr. Penniman (and mine) and the ultimate in a controlled explosion of a groove.
Someone felt that "Baby Face" and "By The Light Of The Silvery Moon" were more important to include. Go figure.
