On its third full-length, this Paris-based combo plays angular, avant-garde, Jewish-themed instrumental music, colored with accordion, guitar, and percussion. Notes fly around in clusters, while the accomplished instrumentalist Marc Ribot contributes his trademark off-kilter guitar textures. "Schnorers" carries the exuberant whiff of the circus and the music hall, while the three movements of "Exercice Oulipien Sur La Recette Du Gefilte Fish" grow progressively dark and more complex.
