Just 23 years old when he recorded his debut album, Ohio native Gran Bel Fisher comes across as a seasoned pro, with a deep, chesty voice that suggests a few too many of those eponymous cigarettes, and a confident way with a melody, evoking a young Jackson Browne or Tom Petty. Big old-fashioned rock production numbers like "Crash and Burn" and "Edible" allow him to show off his blood-and-thunder vocals and emotionally resonant lyrics.

This is one of the best albums of 2006...period. I would describe Gran Bel Fisher as a soulful rocker. I have listened to this album over and over. You won't get tired of listening either!

I saw Gran Bel Fisher on tour. He was amazing live. I bought the cd and love it. Great voice, great songs, well worth the purchase.

I heard 2 songs on the radio and there was just something about the sound/style that drove me buy this CD. What was I thinking? This is an artist with stardom writen all over. The songs are dramatic, beautiful, thoughtful, creative, & even a bit raw at times. This could be a new wave of music, and it certainly qualifies as one of the best new CD's to be released in years.

This album is absolutely amazing!!! I especially love the track "Edible." I totally think that you should be this album! His voice is so beautiful and his sound is so soothing. I definately think this is one of the best CDs I have gotten all year!
