Standard Screen; Soundtrack English Brian Paulinh's satisfyingly grisly zombie flick tells the story of Kristin, a woman desperate to save her husband from a terminal bone disease. She turns to an extremely alternative medicine, but it has some decidedly unpleasant side effects--like rotting skin and a craving for human flesh. Bone Sickness Movie Review awesome I first saw this movie in the early nineties with my husband & two teenage children. We able to record on vhs and have worn out the movie. I have to admit it has to be my ABSOLUTE**favorite B horror flick. Son & daughter are now married with children of their own and we still remember the laughs we had together with their now deceased Dad. Submitted by fkeefefss (Oak Ridge, TN) Was This Review Helpful? One of the greats To quote noted thespian Bill Murray: "If you only see one movie this year, make it Frankenhooker." I couldn't agree more. Submitted by Tuttle (Astoria, NY) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 0 of 1 found this helpful. This review is for a different format.

Bone Sickness review
$14.29 While chasing a criminal named Rolex (Melvin Wong), Agent 999 (Tsui Siu-keung) stumbles upon an even greater evil--a primitive, impoverished village that has resorted to cannibalism. An expert at kung fu, Agent 999 must decide whether he will join his old foe in fighting off the hordes of crazed, masked peasants. WE ARE GOING TO EAT YOU is director Tsui Hark's second film, following his debut, BUTTERFLY MURDERS, which also explores the horror genre. Without the budget for complicated special effects, WE ARE GOING TO EAT YOU relies on energetic editing (a Hark trademark) and gross-out scenes to move the story along. The gore has a campiness that will appeal to the most bloodthirsty fans of slasher films--in one scene a man is sawed in two, while in another a beating heart is ripped from a man's chest. Comedic elements are added in the characters of a ...

$10.29 Former porn director Gregory Dark's contemporary B-movie gorefest has all the necessary trappings to leave genre fans satisfied, and others slightly nauseous. The scene is set when a group of juvenile delinquents arrive at a roach-infested ruin of a hotel, where they have agreed to work in exchange for lighter sentences. They are led by a cop who lost his hand four years ago in a struggle with a brutal serial killer whom he killed with a bullet to the head--or so he thought. Now, the very same hulking monster, played by WWE wrestler Kane, haunts the halls of the dilapidated hotel, and with no further adieu begins picking off the teenagers one by one. He metes out his own brand of justice: having been taught as a child by his punishingly Christian mother that the ...

$16.69 TWO WEEKS NOTICE: Opposites attract in the directorial debut of screenwriter Marc Lawrence. Determined activist, lawyer, and idealist Lucy Kelson (Sandra Bullock) has a noble reason for accepting a top position at Wade Realty Corporation. By taking the job, she can save the beloved community center in her Coney Island neighborhood. Along with the job comes the position of personal advisor to her high-maintenance boss, George Wade (Hugh Grant). As the two work together, down-to-earth Lucy becomes utterly indispensable to millionaire playboy George, so much so that he seeks her advice on everything from stationery selection to his divorce settlement to what suit he should wear. When Lucy gives her two weeks notice and realizes that her potential replacement, June Carter (Alicia Witt), has some strong chemistry with George, she has to acknowledge her own romantic feelings for her boss. Likewise, faced with losing the person he relies upon most, George is forced to do some soul searching of his own. Grant is well-cast as freewheeling George, delivering his lines with subtlety and making a potentially irritating character likable and charming. TWO WEEKS NOTICE also stars Dana Ivey and Robert Klein as Lucy's parents.
