| | Jean Terrell I Had To Fall In Love CD - Import Jean Terrell Discography of CDs
Jean is best known for replacing Diana Ross as the lead vocalist with the Supremes in late 1969. She sang on many of their early 70's hits "Up The Ladder To The Roof," "Stoned Love," "Nathan Jones," "Bad Weather" as well as "Floy Joy" and "Automatically Sunshine" with Mary Wilson, and "River Deep Mountain High" with Levi Stubbs. Jean left the Supremes in 1973 due to her Jehovah Witness religion, eventually being replaced by Scherrie Payne. Fourteen years later she would line up with Scherrie and Lynda Laurence as FLOS (former ladies of the Supremes), touring and recording for the Motorcity label, and in 2004 she released a biographical DVD "Through The Eyes Of A Supreme."

I Had To Fall In Love CD music
$11.99 Digitally remastered by Suha Gur (Universal Mastering Studios East).
Singer/harmonica player/guitarist John Mayall was best known as a key figure in the '60s British blues boom, fronting a band containing future members of Cream, Fleetwood Mac, and Colosseum among others. However, after releasing a number of rock-edged electric blues albums, Mayall changed direction in 1969. Recorded live a New York's Fillmore East, THE TURNING POINT finds Mayall fronting an all-acoustic four-piece including ...

I Had To Fall In Love CD music
$19.69 Although they only released a handful of singles (and no albums) during their time with Motown and they never had a truly big hit, the Velvelettes sure recorded a lot of material if you count all the unreleased tracks they laid down for the label. This two-CD set is the proof, presenting not just most of their scant body of previously released Motown sides (some of which didn't see the light of day for decades), but also no less than 32 cuts that make their first appearances here (although half a dozen of these are just alternate versions, alternate mixes, or stereo versions). Does the availability of all this stuff redefine their legacy? Nope -- it, like prior Velvelettes compilations, solidifies their standing as a decent but second-string Motown group, although it's a gold mine of discovery for the serious Motown collector. Though the Velvelettes really weren't much different than the Supremes ...
| | C'Est Chic CD (1978)
I Had To Fall In Love music CDs
$5.95 In the 1970s, disco was dominated by anonymous artists and flash-in-the-pan singles; which is one of many reasons why Chic towers over the era. For starters, Chic was a real band--a tight-knit quintet led by the twin lights of producers/songwriters Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers (also on bass and guitar, respectively). Secondly, Chic created a consistently high caliber of sophisticated dance music that fused funk's rhythmic principles with disco sheen. Between the band's debut and the release of their classic single "Good Times," Chic released C'EST CHIC.
Due largely to ...

I Had To Fall In Love songs
$13.39 Darkness & the Day is Patrick Fitzgerald's first full-length album that doesn't include guitar input from his former Kitchens of Distinction bandmate Julian Swales. Without Swales, it's hard for Fitzgerald to climb the epic swirling peaks he'd easily bounded in the past, but there's still a great deal to like about the album, not the least of which ...
