In local corner store while purchasing a sixer.“I moved to San Francisco and into the Mission district in 1997. There is an agreeably artistic quality here for sure. Living in a shitty apartment with bum roommates, people crashed everywhere, mice running around digging in bags of chips, garbage, rotting food, beer cans, chew mold, and debris everywhere...helps.My unfoundedly dire lifestyle mixed with the insatiable brand of laziness and apathy my friends and I possess in this household surprisingly sparks massive musical inspiration.I always thought of these songs as an audio diary. I hope you listen to the songs and join in the fun.”Sitting in kiddy pool on sidewalk at 19th/SanCarlos.“My latest, most listen-able, and professionally produced album is called ‘The Sun Comes in Circles’. It’s about girls, Mr. Pibb, bars, beer, parties with live chickens, hangovers, losers, summertime, suicide, stabbing, gangsters, the Mission district, getting laid off, snow cones, and other nifty things. This album is vocal arrangement, haunting melodies and pop sensibility a la Ween, Magnetic Fields, Flaming Lips, Beach Boys, Camper Van Beethoven, and a drunken Steve Vai mixed with early Prince.”Fade in to topless beach scene. On sand. Wearing Speedo.“Hello, my name is Brice Frillici and I am originally from Northern Wisconsin. In high school I bought a guitar and started multi-tracking using two boom boxes. An interesting start, but after 2 tracks it's useless. During the summer of my Freshman year at UW Madison I bought a 4-track and went to town with it. I’ve since been making alt/pop/space/noise/metal/art/rock songs. Somewhere around 1998 I got a Macintosh and started recording digitally. This helped shape my tracks into fuller and more realized recordings. It also streamlined my recording process and multiplied my output.Hopefully this has been informative and enjoyable for you.”Thank you for your time.Brice Frillici Sun Comes In Circles Music Brice Frillici Sun Comes In Circles Songs | 1. | That Astronaut |

Sun Comes In Circles music CDs
$13.99 Taylor Swift abandons any pretense that she's a teen on her second album, FEARLESS--which isn't to say that she suddenly tarts herself up, running away from her youth in a manner that's all too familiar to many teen stars. Swift's maturation is deliberate and careful, styled after the crossover country-pop of Shania Twain and Faith Hill before they turned into divas. Despite the success of her self-titled 2006 debut, there's nothing at all diva-like about Swift on FEARLESS: she's soft-spoken and considerate, a big sister instead of a big star. Nowhere is this truer than on "Fifteen," a kind warning for a teen to watch her heart sung from the perspective of a woman who's perhaps twice that age--a sly trick for the 18-year-old Swift. There may be a hint of youthfulness to her singing but that's the only hint of girlishness here; her writing--and she had a hand in penning all 13 tracks here, with six of them bearing her solitary credit--is sharply, subtly crafted and the music is softly assured, never pushing ...

| | Carrie Underwood Play On CD (2009)
Sun Comes In Circles album
$12.95 Daisy in her hair aside, Carrie Underwood looks flat-out glamorous on the cover of PLAY ON, which is a pretty fair indication of what awaits listeners on her third album. Carrie is still nominally a country artist and sometimes will sing supported by fiddles and steel guitar, but this is crossover pop pure and simple, whether it's the thundering rhythms on the Shania-styled strut "Cowboy Casanova" or the succession of maudlin melodies on the preponderance of power ballads. Carrie takes a much stronger presence as a writer here, co-authoring seven of the 13 songs, and she's attracted to hookless showstoppers designed to showcase her powerful voice. When she sticks to tunes written solely by the professionals, PLAY ON does have some slick pleasures, particularly on the breezy "Quitter" and "This Time," songs built on solid melodies and delivered without flash, relying on craft and Carrie's considerable small-town charm.

| | Michael Ross Dog Eat Dog CD (2002)
Sun Comes In Circles songs
$16.39 Bassist Michael Ross and his quartet might signify the best-kept secret in modern jazz, or to some extent, jazz-rock. Emanating from the Tampa, Florida area, the band perpetuates a fresh and altogether radiant outlook, due to its often-forthright blend of swing, funk, and psycho-rock-induced licks. Ross commences the proceedings with a colossal sounding ostinato groove on the opener, "Wee Zee." Therefore, he sets the stage for the band's blustery attack, featuring electric guitarist LaRue Nickelson's jazz-fusion style lines. No doubt, these folks mean business.
Many of the works on Dog Eat Dog feature saxophonist David Pate's hybrid, modern jazz/soul-drenched choruses. The artists' incorporate Pink Floydian dreamscapes amid melodically laced themes, and turbo-mode soloing extravaganzas on pieces such ...
