Sa Ba De album
$10.09 After the initial shock fades, the existence of CHRISTMAS IN THE HEART seems perhaps inevitable. After all, the thing Bob Dylan loves most of all are songs that are handed down from generation to generation, songs that are part of the American fabric, songs so common they never seem to have been written. These are the songs Dylan chooses to sing on CHRISTMAS IN THE HEART, a cheerfully old-fashioned holiday album from its Norman Rockwell-esque cover to its ...

| | Shakira She Wolf CD (2009)
Sa Ba De songs
$11.18 Last time around, Shakira touched upon so many styles she couldn't be contained on one album, splitting Oral Fixation in two. This time, she focuses on one sound only: a pulsating electro-disco that crosses all boundaries and welcomes all nationalities. Such concentration behooves Shakira, freeing her to release her inner She Wolf, a wild wacko who's as coo coo as she is carnal. And for as sexy as Shakira is -- crucially, her music is sexy too -- what really gives She Wolf its bite is her inspired nuttiness, how she laments that Matt Damon's not meant for her, and wishes her ex-lover and his new girl a horrible vacation where the room smells and the toilet doesn't flush. "Darling, it is no joke, this is lycanthropy," she sings on the title track with no small ...

$13.75 At times, it was hard to figure out whether Berlin were an average synth pop band trying to carve out their own niche or just a mediocre rock band jumping on the new wave bandwagon. Sure, they had some good singles and radio hits, but as an album band, they left a lot to be desired. Terri Nunn was beautiful and sexy, but it seemed like Berlin wanted to be more ...

Sa Ba De music CDs
$12.15 WINNER of the 2005 Los Angeles Music Award for Best Pop/Reggae Album, Mystic Roots Band is serving up an original style based in reggae, hip-hop, and dancehall, with overtones of rock, funk, and ska. MRB is consistently placed at the top of playlists by DJs & listeners of all musical genres. They have their own Primetime TV Show coming out on TLC this fall. Top Ranked on Myspaace , this Chico-born, now San Diego based group embraces the nature of roots reggae wholeheartedly and perform it confidently. The list of bands that they have shared the stage with reads like a "who's who" of reggae music, including The Wailers, Pato Banton, Gregory Isaacs, Jimmy Cliff, as well as Jurassic 5, Long Beach Dub All Stars, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Ozomatli, and Digital Underground to name just a few. Having independently sold close to 10,000 albums, topping Amazon 's chart of independent artist sales, and killing music download sites with their underground hit "Pass" (go check for yourself right now!), it's no wonder why Mystic Roots Band was recently voted #1 band in Playboy Magazine's #1 party college town, Chico California, and was TOP RANKED in both Reggae and Hip-Hop categories on myspace with over 30 million members for over 6 months - and still going strong.Fans describe MRB's style as a unique combination of No Doubt, Sublime, The Police, Sean Paul, The Fugees and Cypress Hill with the spirit and consciousness of Bob Marley and Spearhead. This diverse sound enables Mystic Roots to continually produce dynamic, cutting edge songs that fans are immediately drawn to. When coming to an MRB concert you are guaranteed more than just music for your ears, but rather a high-energy show and powerful experience you'll never forget. | | Delgado Brothers A Brothers Dream CD (2005)
Sa Ba De album
$13.15 Delgado Brothers: A Brother's Dream (Bell Asher 10724) This is, to my knowledge, the third Delgado Brothers album and given the outstanding brilliance of their last release, Let's Get Back (on Mocombo Records) they certainly have established a reputation for world class musical genius. But, even more, The Delgado are one of the very few roots-rock-influenced bands who have profound concepts to go with the musical abilities they possess. Too many virtuosos have command of their instruments but very little to say that's meaningful and in today's scary, violence-promoting environment we desperately needs acts such as The Delgado's to bring some sanity to the airwaves. Few acts could deliver messages of hope, love and brotherhood as melodically as this El Monte-raised class. And while one couldn't label "A Brother's Dream a stereotypical blues album, the pervasive truth and honesty combined with full-of-feeling performances from all involved, tie The Delgado's securely to blues, soul, gospel and all authentic American music. While tempted to label The Delgado's a poor man's Los Lobos, simply to convey to the reader what kind of music to expect, one must be outspoken regarding where The Delgado's should be. No need to get into the Sad state of affairs in North American record industry priorities (as anti-talent and anti-music as its ever been from Rob Zombie to brain-dead Gangsta Rap) and one always clings to the prayer and hope of Good triumphing over Evil. We can only hope that The Delgado's exceptional talents and knack for magical and memorable music finally wins out and propels them to the exposure and fame they truly deserve. While no longer with John Juke Logan's ...

Sa Ba De music CDs
$11.49 DYSINFORMATION BIOGRAPHYPete Mainzer - Lead VocalsAndy Beech - GuitarsRob McPhaden - BassChris Womble - DrumsThe Northwestern United States has always had a music scene vibrant with creativity and unrivaled talent. From Jimi Hendrix to Queensryche and Heart and, later, the 90's explosion with the likes of Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and others, Seattle in particular has been a hotbed of activity since the '60's. Modern rockers Dysinformation plan to continue the tradition of bringing worldwide noteriety to their hometown. Forming from the ashes of the band Milestone, drummer Chris Womble set about putting together a tight unit that would meet his musical expectations. A chance meeting with singer Pete Mainzer, who had enjoyed some regional and European success with previous bands and guitarist, Andy Beech (a former guitar tech for Zakk Wylde who has also built guitars for Prince as well as Wylde) set him on the right path. Hooking up with bassist Rob McPhaden in mid 2004 put all the pieces into place. Eschewing the traditional formula of playing the local club scene until they were blue in the face, Dysinformation set to writing songs for their self titled debut album immediately. With their collective roots in hard rock and heavy metal the quartet took those elements and applied modern rock techniques to their writing approach. The resulting ...
