And this in only 17 DAYS after posting 4 short samples of his songs on MySpace . Family Album is a collection of original songs written and performed by John George Campbell about family members, relationships, and events that have influenced his life. 'Grandad's Branding Iron' is about family pride and tradition, followed by 'Lovers Lullaby', and "Shadows in the Night", which are about John's pioneering Oklahoma grandparents love and romance. Songs about his parents include 'Mama' and 'Daddy Dear'. John changes pace with the uptempo western swing piece "Should've Spent More Time in Oklahoma" and the Son's of the Pioneers styled "Remington, Russell, and All", John's tribute to the beautiful and dramatic works of the great Western painters Fredric Remington, Charles Russell, and others. He includes songs of struggle and determination "God Bless the Working Man" and the breakup of a loved one's marriage in 'Through the Heartache and the Tears' and then moves onto happier songs about pets 'Eight Dogs and Two Kitty Cats', babies 'Babies on Parade', and quirky family trips "Next to Highway Number 10". John closes Family Album with a song of love and commitment 'Choices', and the humourous self-deprecating rocker "Middle Aged Man". Players contributing their talents to Family Album included the late great Jerry Swallow on guitar and bass, Bob Helm on fiddle, Buddy Merrill on pedal steel, Larry David on keyboards and harp, and Rob Renderer on keyboards and organ. John George Campbell has been singing most of his life, and professionally since the 1980's. He's sung on film soundtracks, televisions shows, numerous concert venues, fairs and festivals, musical Theater, and cruise ships. John left the road to raise a family, and in the process started writing the songs on Family Album. Unfortunately, John became ill after the CD was produced and completed, so this FAMILY ALBUM CD was never released until May of 2006. But the individual songs "Daddy Dear", and "Through the Heartache and the Tears" were featured on the Dr. James Dobson's Focus on the Family show, and the Dr Laura's radio talk show, and the children's songs "Eight Dogs and Two Kitty Cats", "Babies on Parade", and "Next to Highway Number 10" have been played on Children's radio stations in various areas. "Grandad's Branding Iron" and "Choices" have also recieved some nice attention. Now, thanks to CDBaby, good folks like yourself can finally give John George Campbell's FAMILY ALBUM a listen, and if you like what you hear, buy the CD, or MP3s of your favorite songs on the CD. Frank McCombBiographyFrank McComb is a divine soul man who speaks with the native tongue of blues, jazz, gospel, pop and some hip hop. His virtuoso piano and organ work have made him not only an indispensable and highly sought after session musician, but an underground favorite on the soul and jazz scenes. He has recorded or performed with many of music\'s giants including: Frankie Beverly and Maze, Teena Marie, Chaka Khan, Lalah Hathaway, Terri Lynn Carrington, Phyllis Hyman and Teddy Pendegrass. He has also done double duty music directing starting his career with Gerald Levert\'s Rude Boys (Written All Over Your Face) and most recently with Pop Diva, Anastacia. It was Frank\'s performance with Prince, the NAACP\'s Lifetime Achievement Award Winner on the 2005 telecast that thrust Frank back onto a world-stage. This night served as an introduction for some, but a re-emergence for many fans who\'ve never seen one of their favorites live. Holding down his first jazz trio at 17, Frank McComb has been a music master since he first tickled the ivories at age 12 under the tutelage of an aunt. Frank counts Herbie Hancock and Oscar Peterson as musical heroes. After one listen you can also throw Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway and Chick Corea into the potpourri of influences heard through Frank\'s various bodies of work. The world got a taste of his genius on wax and on the road when young lion Branford Marsalis laid down his seminal Hip Hop Jazz recording Buckshot LeFonque which featured ...

$11.49 Sam Miensinompe, is somewhat of a renaissance man. He studied at the International Fine Arts College in Miami Beach where he became a professional photographer and an illustrator. However, he has been the type of guy who likes to experience other forms of creativity, so he also studied science and ethology, and became an independent scientist for a while. His achievements included some quite elegant theories in the field of physics, ethology, and dinosaur evolution. When it comes to his music, like his science, he learn it all by himself. He has been making music albums during a period of two years in his spare time. His love for music has always been in his hart, so it was very easy for him to start creating music. He states: "Family and people I know are completely shocked by how quickly I became a musician, and my cousin tells me that the music was always inside me, so it was easy for me to make it."When making his music, he does not cuts corners. He likes to create his music from scratch, no sample beats from other artists. Every note is placed by him. He likes to experiment creating many beats. Those that he ends up liking, he starts to see the music in them. He states: "When I make the beat of the music, I usually start with a drum beat. Then, I begin to hear the music that I have not done yet, within it. And when I place what I have heard in my mind on to the structure of the music, more music comes to my mind so I keep adding it to the structure until it is done."The main reason why he started creating music was because he missed the strong emotional essence that music used to have during the late 80's. He also loves that hard core electronic dance music that makes you want to dress up in vampire clothing and gothic attire.Sam is a very compassionate guy. Has been on many demonstrations for human an animal wealth-fair. One of his best wishes is to eliminate completely euthanasia in animal shelters. He states: "If every one could spend one day working at an animal control facility placing so many kind, sentient, loving, ...
