Thizz Iz How We Eat!! album
$13.15 Enter the Jacka. The death of 2Pac in the mid 90's ripped the heart out of West Coast Hip Hop. At the same time a young street poet named the Jacka was honing his skills in the Bay Area Rap game. Always open minded, he was influenced by b-boys and thugs, pimps and Imams. The Jacka has since developed into an established, well-rounded, well-versed emcee in the right place to bring the West Coast some serious attention. The Jacka's music is a reflection of his life. He witnessed the birth of the dope game and the drug war that followed, as the battle was waged in his community, on his block, and in his house. Memories of departed loved ones haunt his mind and soul. His release is to share his experiences through his music. Reality hurts. Rap is the Jacka's medicine. That and some purple. Jacka's success proves his mettle as an emcee. He has been featured on over 50 albums over the past six years. His contributions ...

Thizz Iz How We Eat!! songs
$9.29 This is a Hyper CD, which contains regular audio tracks and also provides a link to the artist's website with the help of a web browser.
Contains an untitled hidden track following "Never Stop Thuggin."
While THE WAY I AM marks Knoc-Turn'Al's full-length debut, he'd already become well known in the hip-hop community. A leading light in the Dr. Dre crew, he authored tracks for Dre before taking the mic on a ton of comps and mix-tapes, but his initial debut was curiously shelved. Neverthless, Knoc-Turn'Al persevered, though, and a 2002 EP brought him to a larger audience. Finally, 2004 marks the talented rapper's exciting, overdue debut THE WAY I AM.
Knoc-Turn'Al opens his long-awaited record with one the curiously appealing "War," where he reflects on the Iraq War, going back and forth between praising US military might and dismissing President Bush. This topical angle, while successful, is at odds with the rest of the record, where Knoc' uses his able and plentiful wit to advance forceful thug-life scenarios. On the title track, an undeniable single, Knoc proves that he can run with the big dogs by trading barbs with the master of sly rap interpolation Snoop Dogg himself. Though it was a long time coming, THE WAY I AM proves Knoc-Turn'Al to have plenty of staying power.

$14.29 Queens rapper 50 Cent ascended to the pinnacle of the hip-hop world in 2003, and the latter part of the year saw his crew, G-Unit, drop by with their own ubiquitous single "Stunt 101" and debut record, BEG FOR MERCY. Far from an entourage cashing in on one member's immediate success, the success of both 50 Cent and G-Unit is more of a chicken-and-egg situation. Since 1999, G-Unit's mixtape moments ...

$9.85 In an era where music sales are at an all time low and internet piracy runsrampant, many artists feel the pressure to create a hit ringtone or secure acorporate endorsement to be perceived as commercially successful. So due toinflation, staggering record sales, the economy, global warming, rising gasprices, the war in Iraq, and the current election year, Underground Hip-Hophas possibly lost another one of its most hopeful groups to the dark side. After making a solid buzz with the 2007 release of their self titled album,Rawkus Records declared theBREAX one of the "next 50 important Hip-Hop acts"gaining the group international attention. theBREAX brought in 2008 with astrong appearance on Syntax Record's *Night Owls 4* featuring LMNO.
