Bernice Lewis has been a touring singer/songwriter for over fifteen years. She has been a featured performer at the Kerrville Folk Festival, the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Mountain Stage, and too many coffeehouses and colleges to mention. She is currently on the faculty of Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where her course "The Contemporary Singer/Songwriter" is growing ever more popular. She also teaches at the Omega Institute, Kripalu Center, Elat Chayyim and the Esalen Institute. To date, she has released five albums of original songs, and her writings have been published in such diverse places as The Appalachian Trailway News, Open Ear, American Zionist Movement, Etc. She has also been a practitioner and teacher of Hatha Yoga for over twenty-five years and was featured in the September 2000 issue of Yoga Journal.
