Tori Coyle was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Southern California. It was in California, that she began singing and performing at the age of 14 with her father accompanying her on the guitar. At 15, she began studying voice at Chapman College where she was introduced to many genres and techniques. When she returned to Texas, she continued performing throughout her college years. Thereafter, Tori consistently performed at many Dallas venues and worked with several bands. Her first album "Fly" was a dream conceived three years prior to its release. It evolved from her love of the music she had listened to since she was a child. This album gave her the opportunity to integrate the memories of her childhood with the songs of today. It is a blending of old songs by Joan Baez and Linda Ronstadt combined with the newness of Sara Hickman and Nancy Wilson. Ever present is the influence of her family, which has given her the heart to sing. Purchase Fly CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Toby Keith American Ride CD (2009)
Fly album
$11.99 With most contemporary country artists, you could guarantee that a song called "American Ride" would be a slice of jingoism, but Toby Keith isn't like most country singers. His "American Ride" casts a cynical eye at desperate housewives and wannabe pop stars, not celebrating down-home values but wondering where we're all headed on this American Ride at the end of the 2000s, a sentiment not all that far removed from some of Keith's previous social commentary, which makes it a mild surprise that it is the only song here that doesn't come from his own pen. As superb and striking as it is, it's not necessarily a good keystone ...

| | Penny Broadhurst Blue Bank CD (2005)
Fly music CDs
$6.69 Penny Broadhurst is a musician, songwriter, actor, writer and performer. She now makes clever, witty pop music (see her website and Myspace), but in 2005 she made this fierce, funny and moving spoken word album.MICHAEL RICHARDSON (JOURNALIST AND WRITER):"I really like the message behind '8 Mile High', a poem about poets not writing for writers, but writing for people. I hate writers who concentrate so wholly upon being literary that their writing becomes alienating drivel. I, like Penny Broadhurst, want to speak to the people. And I want to kick arse.Listening to Penny's voice reminds me of just why I could never be a performance poet. Penny's voice is booming and loud and angry and funny - it rattles the speakers on my laptop (which wouldn't be so much of an achievement, piddly as the speakers on my laptop are, if it weren't for the fact that The Polyphonic Spree - a whole f*cking orchestra - don't make them rattle).I like 'Music I', for obvious reasons. I like 'Hands', it's very beautiful. ...

| | Marypat Farrell Self Titled EP CD (2007)
Fly CD music
$9.35 Marypat Farrell is a talented comedian and actor with a special sense of timing, bringing a a true warmth and genuine dimension to every part played on stage, television and the big screen. But when she isn't playing for laughs, she's also a thoughtful, richly moving singer-songwriter. Born in the picturesque, light-years-from-Hollywood small New England Town of Norwich, Vermont, Marypat grew up in this sleepy hamlet, the youngest of seven children and youngest of six girls in the family. One of her older sisters played guitar and used to sing for her younger siblings at bedtime. Before her hands could clasp all the way around the neck of the guitar, Marypat asked her big sister for lessons and was soon singing and playing herself. Working one summer in Alaska at a Cannery (an experience filled with stories on their own), Marypat saved up enough money to buy her first guitar, months later, at a Sam Ash music store in New York City. Taking inspirations in the often-introspective explorations of Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, the Grateful Dead lyricist ...
