There'll Always Be A Christmas Music Ames Brothers There'll Always Be A Christmas Songs There'll Always Be A Christmas Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) The Definitve Christmas recording This record came out when I was just seven years old and still believed in Santa. Christmas was still a magical time. To me, these are how these holiday songs are supposed to sound. I had searched for years, trying to locate a copy of this LP, so it was with great anticipation that I found it and then ordered it from CD Universe. I was not disappointed. The orchestral arrangements and vocal harmonies of the Ames Brothers still sound as I remember them- fresh and still relevent for "the most wonderful time of the year." A True Classic It's a shame this is being made available now. Many have never had the chance to realize the greatness of this album. We have been listening to a scratched up LP for years and still consider this the gold standard of Christmas albums from the orchestra/big band days. This true classic should be at the top of any Christmas CD library. Submitted by Butch (Brandywine, MD, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A Magical Christmas Album Having grown up in the 60s with this Ames Brothers Christmas album, even today our family still regards this as the best Christmas album ever. It's just not Christmas without the Ames Brothers, and every song is a gem. Submitted by Frank (Denver, CO, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

There'll Always Be A Christmas
$10.95 While the Lennon Sisters will probably go down in history as a staple of the cheesy Lawrence Welk Show, the four sisters (Dianne, Janet, Peggy and Kathy) could sing, and, once upon a time, recorded a darn good holiday album. The origins of Christmas With the Lennon Sisters is a little murky, but the material seems to have been ...

| | June Christy This Time Of The Year CD (1961)
There'll Always Be A Christmas
$9.99 Personnel: June Christy (vocals). Arranger: Pete Rugolo. June Christy was always an exceptional vocalist steeped in cool jazz who had a knack for unearthing interesting songs and fostering under-recorded songwriters. With the unjustly neglected This Time of Year Christy decided to address the fact that every single Christmas album seems to feature the same few seasonal songs. This Time of Year is that rarest of things -- a winter concept album of all new material that can be listened to even when the holidays are over. While ...

Recording information: Audio Lab Studios, Tampa, FL. Tage Mahal is the first album from Jon Oliva's Pain -- just one of the numerous side projects helmed by the American metal legend outside the scope of his primary vehicle Savatage. But unlike his work with, say, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, there are really no radical differences between ...
