| | Andy Milonakis Show - The Complete Second Season DVD
Standard Screen; Soundtrack English Equal parts irritating, endearing, and hilarious, Andy Milonakis has honed his hyperactive, ADD-addled adolescent persona into an art form. There is much confusion among his fan base as to whether Milonakis is, in fact, a precocious if crazy teenager, or rather a 30-year-old with a medical disorder that makes him appear much younger. Either way, the fact that this is a genuinely debatable question is a testament to the carefully constructed character he plays on his offbeat, bizarrely funny MTV show. Whether he's accosting random strangers in the street to ask about his socks, wearing a pancake, or holding a funeral for a piece of ham, Milonakis's comedy is oddly mesmerizing. The show's second season is included here in its entirety. Audiences get to know their favorite artists and watch them both on and offstage. Performers include Rakim, KRS-One, Jay-Z, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Common, Talib Kweli, Kanye West, The Clips, and Ghostface Killah, among others. Also included is little-seen archival footage of artists such as LL Cool J, Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Snoop, and the Wu Tang Clan.
Lil Mook was born, Ronald Leon the 2nd June 23, of 1985. To Ronald and Rose Leon. Growing up for Mook wasnt easy. A drastic change came about in his life when his mother was incarcerated when mook was only 8. His father was determined to carry Mook and younger brother on his back like any real man would. Despite his fathers efforts his parents lost their house. Mook and his younger brother were forced to live with his grandmother Annie Mae Matthews when Mook was just 11. He had so much bottled inside. He wrote it down in a unique and poetic style, rather then talking and sharing his pain amongst others. By the age of 12 Mook was grabbing any and everything he could possibly get his hands on to take what he was doing to the next level such as instrumentals, paper, pen, tape recorder, and a little later a karaoke. Everything what would make this young lyrical master mind. The very man you see today that has overcame obstacles to accelerate his pace to success. He was determine to let all his pain out, that can be a burden and a hindrance, to a young adolescence to come out verbally father then physically. It wasn't until his sister's boyfriend Shawn noticed and eventually asked him to freestyle. Mook refused time after time not because he was shy or scared but only because he was uncomfortable. Then one day Shawn asked him just knowing the answer was No! Out of the blue Mook unleashed his lyrical ability and left Shawn and others in shock. Afterwards they were a fiend for more. I asked Mook what was it like and what did he feel at the very moment and he replied, I felt relieved from that point on Shawn was determine to get him on a one on one basis to get Mook the practice he needed until he was close to perfection. Trying to perfect his style Mook constantly stayed in and out of the studio and he was well taken care of financially. He said rough guessing at that point in his life he only spent $425 dollars in his whole life just cause people believed in him. Lil Mook was offered constructive criticism and encouragement. Lil Mook turned to ...
