| | DJ Sparx Deco CD DJ Sparx Discography of CDs
Before house was house, DJ Sparx was orchestrating the crowd on the dance floor with the sounds of the disco days. A resident DJ at Circus Disco during the disco years, he helped shape the LA scene with the latest breaking sounds worthy of polyester and platforms. After 15 years, DJ Sparx returned to the scene in none other than Las Vegas to bring soulful beats to Sin City. Over the last three years, Sin City has been head bouncing to the beats of house when DJ Sparx hits the tables. DJ Sparx has mixed, compiled and produced 8 CD's and will be releasing his latest double CD in May "DECO". He has played in numerous Vegas club scenes including Tangerine, Red Dragon, Aquanox, and Firefly Lounge. Each week he called Club Seven his home where he promoted progressive and high energy sounds during afterhours. DJ Sparx recently returned from his annual pilgrimage to the Dance Music Holy Land...Ibiza...where he played his funky vibes poolside at the Es Vive Hotel. DJ Sparx has exceptional mixing skills, mastered over his years of experience. Whenever he plays, the music takes you on a journey, pulsating your body with heavy bass lines and funky tunes, transforming his music style to throbbing beats before the sun washes the city. Deco CD music
$12.59 Patrick O’Hearn: Glaciation (self-released)It’s been awhile since a disc of ethereal, slow-moving instrumental music (this once would have been called “new age”) has captured my imagination like Patrick O’Hearn’s Glaciation has. Like the glaciers and icebergs that adorn the lovely CD package, these compositions have a spare, mysterious, other-worldly beauty. I mean to pay this release a high compliment when I note that some of this music recalls the most evocative work of Brian Eno, in the way O’Hearn places the instruments in different ...

Deco songs
$11.65 It could be said that electronic musicians have a tendency to obsess over sonic detail in a way that your average garage rock band may find hard to understand. The young Parisian duo Justice (Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay), seem, for the most part, unfettered by niceties such as sonic subtlety or restraint. Combining French-touch house with large doses of heavy-metal hedonism, the group's debut, CROSS, privileges rock's devil-may-care ...

| | Craig Linder December Snow CD (2005)
Deco album
$18.99 Riding the successes of his first two releases, Blue Serenity and Memories of Love, solo pianist, Craig Linder, has finally released his much anticipated Holiday CD, December Snow. This album continues with Linder's trademark style of relaxing and engaging solo piano, but offers a touch of instrumental variety. "Several songs on the new album have contributions from Seattle violinist, Tyler Reilly. He's incredible and I'm thrilled with the way we worked together creatively. No doubt, listeners will really enjoy it.""With every song I write, I find myself pouring more and more of my soul into my music. It's incredibly rewarding to see the face of someone in the crowd when they really connect with one of my songs. It's like they tapped into the same energy I did when it was created. Studio work is certainly rewarding, but at times you wonder if you're creating something people will really want to listen to. Getting that connection during a live performance is that confirmation of what you hoped to achieve. It's very satisfying."Growing up in the southern farmlands of Minnesota, Linder's first exposure to the piano was at the age of five when his grandfather brought home an old upright piano he salvaged from an abandoned dance hall before it was torn down. Although he enjoyed learning simple songs and playing piano duets with his siblings, at the age of nine he convinced his mother to buy him an acoustic guitar and take him to guitar lessons. Unfortunately his teacher's approach resulted in a short-lived stint with the guitar. "I'd probably be a guitar player today if my teacher's style wouldn't have been so very strict and extinguished all enthusiasm I had for the instrument. During my year and a half of lessons which consisted mainly of drills and scales, the closest I ever got to rock n' roll was the piece I played for my last recital, 'Home ...
