Purchase Dedicated CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Z-Ro Cocaine CD (2009)
Dedicated
$15.05 Despite his status as one of hip-hop's most prolific artists, Z-Ro never quite spreads himself too thin. The provocatively titled COCAINE is his second release from 2009, and features his trademark self-aware, yet rapier-sharp lyrics over some of the hotter beats out of the fertile Houston scene. The Intro skilfully sets out the landscape as the dark-vocaled MC reflects upon his choice of a life of street dealing without a shred of remorse, ...

Rhino's 1993 collection The Very Best of Wilson Pickett remains the best single-disc anthology of the fiery soul singer's work, choosing 16 of his best tracks for Atlantic and presenting them in excellent remastered sound quality. Pickett never departed all that much from the rough, swaggering vocals that first made his name, but he was utterly electrifying within that style, setting the standard for Southern ...

| | Pastor Rez Holy Biography CD (2006)
Dedicated
$10.25 Pastor Rha-Sheen D. Brown, “Pastor REZ”, was born on December 7, 1975 in Brooklyn, New York to Deborah Brown and Lonnie Owens. Pastor Rez had to overcome various trials and tribulations throughout his life. His father separated from them and later died in a car accident, when Pastor Rez was only 5 years. His mom resorted to the rough lifestyle of Brooklyn and began to sell drugs, running numbers and running cons. She eventually became a crack cocaine addict. She and her son became homeless and went from shelter to shelter. Child welfare took Pastor Rez from his mom’s custody when she left him in the shelter by himself. At this time Pastor Rez was 12 years old and going from foster home to foster home. When everyone thought that Pastor Rez was nothing and they had given up on him, he began to think that the streets would accept him. He began to sell drugs and became very rebellious. Pastor Rez surrounded himself with people who were thieves and murderers. In 1994, when he was 19 years old, Pastor Rez was arrested on multiple charges that could have had him in jail for the rest of his life. But God was watching over him the entire time. Pastor Rez’s mother, who at this time was clean and in the Lord, interceded in prayer. After only 6 months, Pastor Rez was released from jail. Even though Jesus released him, Pastor Rez was a 5% and believed himself to be God. Later Jesus Christ would give him the other 95 % and make him 100% whole, in Jesus Christ. Pastor Rez had a son out of wedlock before he went to jail. When he was released, ...

Dedicated
$10.39 The Matheny family from Chapel Hill offer another album of power-pop infused alternative country songs with OH TALL TREE IN THE EAR. As on their previous releases, Skip Matheny sings passionately about romance, heartbreak, and life on the road while his wife Timshel riffs away on guitar and brother Longan attacks or cuddles the drums as appropriate. Obvious influences the dB's, Van Morrison, and Big Star inform most of the album's eleven songs. Chris Stamey returns to co-produce with Jason Lehning, and the result is a bright, bold and somewhat epic concoction that too frequently drowns out the vocals making the lyrics a little ...
