Breaking the Da Vinci Code: Everyone wants to know. Is Dan Brown's best selling fiction thriller "The Da Vinci Code" really fact or fiction? Based on three best-selling books—"Breaking the Da Vinci Code", "The Da Vinci Deception" and "Cracking Da Vinci's Code"—this program solves a 2000 year old mystery!
Last Supper Artifacts: In Dan Brown's Best Selling Book The Da Vinci Code, the author portrays Mary Magdalene as the legendary Holy Grail. But does he or anyone else really know who Mary Magdalene was? Our investigation into the age-old mystery surrounding the identity and character of Mary Magdalene, one the Bible's best known women, produces some startling insights. The Holy Grail, traditionally believed to be a relic of the Last Supper of Christ, has captured the world's imagination for centuries. Yet after 2,000 years, no one has found the Holy Grail. Or have they? And if the Holy Grail has been found, can we access its legendary powers?
Biblical Authors: The Bible is the most widely read and revered book in the history of the world. But does anyone know who really wrote it? Most Christians believe that God is the ultimate author of the Bible, and that the human authors merely served as God's scribes. Skeptics insist the Bible is nothing more than the work of clever men – creative storytellers at best. Who's right? What are the facts behind the creation of this immortal manuscript? Can new scientific research and theological insight give us clues into this text? What can the Dead Sea Scrolls tell us about the origins of the Bible? Discover how modern technology may finally unravel this age-old mystery.

$9.69 In the small, idyllic enclave of Port Chester University, there is an even smaller community of people determined to hold out against the fervent political correctness that has taken over their academic establishment. Known as the Pit, it is the fraternity house that serves as party HQ for those holdouts, who hail, incidentally, from all walks of life; it is also the building to which Tom (Chris Young) has been assigned to stay during his pre-freshman stay at the campus. Jeremy Piven plays Droz, his guide, the head of the frat whose daily activities include throwing meat at a bunch of protesting vegans. But things turn serious ...

$27.89 METROPOLIS: This animated Japanese film from Rin Taro (X) and Otomo Katsuhiro (AKIRA), based on the 1949 manga by Tezuka Osamu, takes place in the futuristic city of Metropolis. A struggle between the robots and the human population of the city, who once coexisted peacefully, has now exploded into a violent revolution. An investigation conducted by private detective Shunsaku Ban and his nephew Kenichi leads to an outlaw scientist named Dr. Laughton. The scientist was hired by the ruler of Metropolis, Duke Red, to create a superhuman robot-girl, Tima, to succeed him as the next ruler of Metropolis. However, Duke Red's jealous bastard son, the Rock of Marduk, cannot stand the idea of a robot taking the throne, and he sets out to destroy Tima. What ensues is a frantic race as Kenichi and Tima flee the Rock through the underground tunnels, dilapidated alleys, and skyscraping towers (called the Ziggurat) of Metropolis, aided by a nurturing trash-collecting robot, Fifi.
Combining classic cartoon drawing with modern computer animation techniques, METROPOLIS plays on the sharp contrast between flat, round characters, and deep, undulating, digital backgrounds. A blimp-submarine vessel roves through Metropolis, sometimes propelled through a watery medium, other times gliding on a monorail or floating through midair. The detail of the city's decor is breathtaking, from the moldings and colorful facades of the monumental buildings to the shiny marble floors and leather furnishings of some of the city's sleek interiors. A New Orleans jazz soundtrack adds a playful element to the film, though the blaring rendition of "I Can't Stop Loving You" that plays as the towers come crashing to the ground in the hellish apocalyptic finale only enhances the shocking, warlike chill that permeates the film.
COWBOY BEBOP: Set on Mars in the year 2071, COWBOY BEBOP: THE MOVIE is based on the much-loved animated television series by Japanese director Shinichiro Watanabe. (The show airs on the Cartoon Network in the U.S.) As the film begins, Spike (Steven Jay Blum) and his gang of gypsy vigilantes are roaming the city, looking for trouble, when Faye (Wendee Lee) witnesses a bioterrorist attack. Hovering above the city in her spaceship, she sees a man fleeing the scene. More than 500 people die in the attack, ...
