$7.79 Based in Camarillo, California and formed in 1996, Cessation Of Life has been bringing metal fans it's own brand of "High Velocity Speed Metal" â„¢ for over 10 years and has grown this band into a noteworthy business. During that time Cessation Of Life has released three studio recordings, one live recording and numerous EP / Demo fan cd's. The studio and live recordings are entitled "Aggressive by nature... Destructive by choice", "Kill You Again", 'Cessation Of Live' and 'The Glory Of The World Is Passing' 1998, 2002, 2003, and 2005 respectively. Cessation Of Life is currently writing and recording a new cd, still untitled for mid 2007 featuring all new music. 1998 thru 2006 C.O.L. released several singles on different compilation CD's on five of the seven continents which were carried by Adrenaline Records and Black Light Records to name a few. They are set once again be released on another compilation disc to raise money for the Reese Butler and Hopeline Foundation early in 2007. Since the beginning Cessation Of Life has received regular airtime on several terrestrial and Internet radio stations in the United States, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Argentina, Poland, Italy, Japan, Columbia, Romania, France, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Greece, and Finland as well as fifty CMJ reporting college radio stations. During the 10 plus year venture Cessation Of Life has also capitalized on the Internet with their web site cessationoflife and others such as myspace , RockDetector , Powerslave and many more. Cessation Of Life has ventured into satellite radio and has received airtime on XM channel 42 "Liquid Metal". Cessation Of Life has had several TV appearances on shows such as 'LA Metal TV' and 'Fast Track To Fame TV'.In 1998 Cessation Of Life put together it's first U.S. tour. This tour started in Los Angeles CA, and encompassed several cities including Phoenix AZ, Denver CO, Salt Lake City UT, & finished in Rapid City SD to headline the 1998 "Monsters Of Mosh" festival. In 1999 Cessation Of Life embarked on their second U.S. tour starting in Hollywood CA and returning to cities such as Phoenix AZ, Salt Lake City UT, and Rapid City SD, while adding some new cities like Des Moines IA, St. Paul MN, Minneapolis, MN and Fargo ND. In 2000 C.O.L. embarked on their third U.S. tour adding major festivals in Ventura CA, Minneapolis MN, Des Moines IA, Milwaukee WI (Metalfest), St. Paul MN, Rapid City SD, Hollywood CA, & San Bernardino CA (November to Dismember Metalfest). In 2002 Cessation Of Life embarked on their fourth U.S. tour hitting many major festivals and cities across the U.S. starting in Ventura CA, and ending back in Hollywood CA. In 2003 Cessation Of Life pushed their efforts in California playing shows throughout the state while concentrating on the Los Angeles and Bay areas. Through this effort they won the LA Rock City News 'Rockies Award' for 'Best Metal Band'. In 2004 Cessation Of Life spent time writing a new CD and performed at the LA Gates Of Metal II and the Seattle Metal Fest as well as numerous Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco appearances.
