Crowbar Broken Glass CD

 far better than what they put out before
crowbar drops much of the sludge that prevented them from really moving a listener. the songs here are more than just heavy, they move like a frieght train carring army surplus. just awesome attack and promise from every song. no more are the songs relying on one riff and shouting melody line, the pauses from the rest of the band when letting a guitar riff jam shows off just what they were able to do when you strip away the sludge- a monster sized riff that's continuing to grow to godzilla proportions. there are not many dynamics here, but imagine if black sabbath wrote riffs that were heavier than gravity's force that's about as close as what you get here.
