Building on the solid reputation of Simon & Garfunkel and the genre-exploring experiments of his solo debut, Paul Simon released this exceptional collection of songs in 1973. Simon seems to revel in his newfound solo freedom here, expanding his folk-rock palette to include gospel, reggae, R&B, and Dixieland, ratcheting up production values, and performing with great authority and confidence. That confidence is supported by some of the artist's finest and most focused compositions, including the jangly, exuberant "Kodachrome," a metaphor for the subjectivity of memory, the beautiful acoustic ballad "American Tune," and the gospel-derived "Love Me Like a Rock."

Rochelle has been singing ever since she can remember, but it was after a close brush with death in December 2005, when she got into a car accident, that she decided to take music seriously. Today, her music brings an inspirational message of hope and a positive outlook on daily life.Coming from a musical family, Rochelle grew up under the influence of gospel, jazz, and classical music. She started taking piano lessons when she was just 4 years old and over the years she picked up the trumpet, the flute, and the guitar. She's been on stage performing solo and with groups since she was six.Because of her authentic message and genuine personality, audiences respond to Rochelle's transparency. Her music has strong lyrical content and smooth melodies, conveying a message that ministers directly to the soul.Rochelle writes her own music and has been doing so since her freshman year in high school. Her latest recording is called STEP OUT. She released the CD to a full house of excited supporters at The Trane Studio Jazz Lounge in Toronto on April 12, 2008. The CD is more than a collection of words, melodies, and original music. It's her testimony. A must have, that crosses all boundaries and borders.In the past, Rochelle has written music for Impact Toronto 2000, an international event organized by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. She has ministered to audiences of every size, from small groups of people at homeless shelters to thousands of worldwide worshipers gathered at international events, such as the General Conference meetings of her church.A graduate of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, Rochelle holds a BA in Journalism and Media Studies. She worked 5 years as a radio personality at classical radio station, WAUS 90.7FM. She was accepted into Berklee College of Music with a $7,000 scholarship in 2007, and is currently in Toronto, doing concerts and special events, spreading the gospel at every opportunity.
