the good people at shout factory have yet again put out another volume of classic episodes of the electric company.this second volume contains 20 more of the best episodes of the 780 episodes produced between 1971-77 and is loaded with extras including a 1971 segment with bill cosby on the dick cavett show discussing the electric company plus a 1975 documentary on the show's impact on children & teachers who viewed the show in school and lastly,remembering the electric company by the show's cast members. watching these dvds bring back some very fond memories of this great children's show which quite sadly is missing from television today.i truly recommend this second box set of best of the electric company to share with your kids they also make a wonderful gift hopefully, volumes 3 & 4 will follow.

the good people at shout factory have done it again by putting out yet another volume of 20 of the greatest of the 780 episodes of the classic children's show "the electric company" this second volume not only contains 20 more of the greatest episodes from the show's 6 year run on pbs but also features a 1975 documentary on how the show had an impact on children who watched the show in school. plus a 1971 segment with bill cosby on the dick cavett show & includes trivia plus the cast members talking about working on the electric company.i truly recommend this second volume of best of the electric company for anyone who wants to relive their fond memories of this wonderful show i'am looking forward to vol.3.
