| | Counting Crows Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings CD (2008)
Every Time I Breathe CD music
$13.75 Often recalling SATELLITES with its tightly wound intensity, the SATURDAY side of the record is embodied by "Cowboys," which features the ever-passionate Duritz at his most urgent, backed by the band's searing triple-guitar attack and driving rhythms. On the other end of the sonic spectrum is "On a Tuesday in Amsterdam Long Ago," a spare, piano-led number that casts Duritz's perpetual sense of yearning into a subdued moment of nostalgic melancholy. While the album's explicitly dual nature may not result in a dynamic mix, it makes for two impressively sustained moods that can easily be broken by hitting "shuffle."
More than five years after 2002's HARD CANDY, Counting Crows finally returned with ...
| | Oak Ridge Boys Boys Are Back CD (2009)
Every Time I Breathe music CDs
$15.05 This surprisingly delightful comeback album ditches the cutesy pop arrangements of the Oak Ridge Boys' early 1980s hits in favor of the rawer outlaw country edge of their earlier work. This puts the group's four-part harmonies in sharp relief, and the surprisingly effective song choices, such as the completely unexpected transformation of the White Stripes' apocalyptic "Seven Nation Army," make the band's case effectively.

Every Time I Breathe songs
$12.69 Gloria Taylor, a Chicago-based singer-songwriter, is part folk, part rock, part fairy and all heart.Once a shy performer, Gloria has always had the urge, just not the nerve. Divorce, single parenthood and a dedicated massage career kept her musical talents hidden until she began playing out a few years ago.Once a full-time member of The Phillips Taylor Band, a Chicago-based folk-rock quintet, Gloria recently released her debut solo CD, "It Just Is What It Is." So far, the CD has received rave reviews by those lucky enough to hear it. Following a writeup in The Daily Herald, the Chicago suburbs' #1 newspaper, she played to a standing-room-only crowd at her CD release party. The song "It's Okay" was also used recently in the film "Who Made Robert DeNiro King?," which will be making the rounds at independent film festivals ...
