| | PKS You Don't Matter CD PKS Discography of CDs
PlanetKillSwitch is the result of the efforts of Nave (vocals, keys, percussion), Jacob (vocals, guitar, drums) and War (bass, backup vocs), who until now had only spoken of working together. Joining them are Dawn (guitar) and Dave (guitar). Finishing the assault...A.B.E. (drums), adding the final dimension to the band's sound. They have an impressive performance streak, opening for acts like Dope, Drowning Pool, Soulfly, Mushroomhead, Bile, Acumen Nation and 216. Their sound is forged from the harsh, sterile industrial environment and raw, crisp metal guitars mesh with the bizarre influx of trip-hop drum influences. Their topics range across all things that scare and anger us. With two releases to their name, they don't expect to be stopping anytime soon. "Scum of the Planet" is a raw look into the band's beginnings, featuring tracks like "Almost Human" and "Occupied". Their current release "You don't matter" is a more defined look at the band's current direction. A harsh look at the future of society and the innermost thoughts of people who have to live in it, aware or not. You Don't Matter songs
$17.59 Anyone familiar with the industrial-metal band's dark sense of irony should take one look at the title of Rammstein's 2009 album LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA ("Love Is There For Everyone") and conclude that this one is a mean monster. Combining the tightness and punch of their 1998 album SEHNSUCHT with the musicianship and elaborate textures of their later work, LIEBE IST is a grand achievement, skillfully dividing its time between razor sharp metal rockers like "B********" or the opening theme song "Rammlied" and nostalgic, cabaret pieces that conjure the spirits of Weil and Brecht at a goth club. Best of the latter is the naked and haunting closer "Roter Sand" but little touches of a sinister yesteryear are everywhere, like the fake vaudeville music in "Haifisch" or the soundtrack strings of "Wiener Blut" which are ...
| | Kiss Sonic Boom CDs (2009)
You Don't Matter album
$16.09 When SONIC BOOM was released, it had been over a decade since the last Kiss studio album, so expectations were understandably high. In addition, the intervening period had seen the band fire two of its founding members for the second time, only to replace them with sidemen wearing Ace Frehley and Peter Criss's iconic makeup. Luckily, the new additions, unlike some of Kiss's "un-masked years" members, have a good feel for classic Kiss. That fact, matched with Paul Stanley's assumption of production duties, makes SONIC BOOM one of the most consistent and thoroughly ...

| | Make Amends Because Nobody's Real CD (2007)
You Don't Matter songs
$9.59 Make Amends was conceived in a small dorm room in late June 2005, when three students of the Academy of Art University met to try out something new. Darren, on bass, had been playing for a few months with good friend Madison, who played guitar. The two had recently befriended a new student, Meghan, who had expressed a desire to get back into singing, after a long hiatus from choirs and vocal ensembles. Upon completion of their first song, they chose the name "Make Amends" after a prose piece written by a friend, and began to hammer out more material. In fall of that year, Jason, high school friend and former band mate to Darren, joined in on second guitar and the quartet recorded "What Remains of the Day", their EP, over a long night and into the following morning. Differing visions and hectic schedules seemed to spell the end for the group in the winter, and Jason eventually was forced to quit due to time constraints. The original three pressed on, slowed but not stopped, and eventually ...
