Tranzmutation is the latest evolution across the sonic universe of Juggling Suns.Featuring Mark Diomede: Guitar/Vox, Gus Vigo: Keys/Vox, Ken E.Kruise: Bass/Vox, Tim Morris: Rhythm guitar/vox, and Andrew Lenaghan: Drums, Juggling Suns’ unique style of cosmic dance music has been astounding audiences from New Jersey to Japan for several years and the band is well poised to make their cosmic contribution to the ever evolving jam band scene.Point Pleasant, NJ based Juggling Suns was initially discovered by Johnny Z, the legendary A&R guru/indie mogul who signed Metallica, Kings X, the Disco Biscuits and Warren Haynes among others. His NJ based label Megaforce was among the most successful independent labels ever, and while Johnny Z will have eternal bragging rights for bringing the world Juggling Suns, Asbury Park based AERIA Records is equally proud to bring them back. “AERIA Records is profoundly delighted to support the latest chapter of Juggling Suns long strange trip and prodigious musical career” says AERIA Records CEO Coleman R. Brice. The group’s roots extend back to the legendary N.J. band SolarCircus. Originating as a Grateful Dead cover band, the group evolved into without question, the most sought after original band along the Jersey Shore. Over the years, the band released five albums internationally, were featured on several compilations, and toured nationally – sharing the stage with everyone from Tom Constanten, The Radiators, Widespread Panic, Hot Tuna and Bruce Springsteen (on the actual day Jerry Garcia died), among many others. The band has also appeared in the feature film "Runaway Bride"featuring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Tranzmutation songs
$11.09 The Pietasters have undergone personnel changes since being formed in Washington, D.C., in 1990, but they have seen their greatest upheavals in recent years, which may help explain why All Day is their first studio album of new material since 2002. Already by the time of the release of the previous album, Turbo, they had suffered the loss of bassist and songwriter Todd Eckhardt, who died of a heart infection in November 2001, although this was not reflected on that disc. Since then, another longtime member, guitarist and songwriter Tom Goodin, has departed. Toby Hansen, who had played trumpet in the group, has moved over to guitar, but the major ...
| | Love & Opium Love & Opium CD (2009)
Tranzmutation album
$16.45 I was working in a factory, making windows when I saw an old friend walking towards the break room. Jimbo (Blam) Joseph was now an employee of Harvey Industries in Dartmouth, MA. We did some catching up and I soon found out that a mutual friend of our (Joey D) had also been hired recently. This came as a big surprise to me. I had known Joey for over twenty years, and something seemed strange about him taking a job like this. It just wasn’t his style. Last I heard he had moved to Miami with his band and was living the rock star life, making money handover fist, doing god knows what! So what is he doing here, working in this shit hole with me? Oh yeah, earlier that year he tracked me down at the pool hall I had owned at the time and tried to get me into a band with him. The timing just wasn’t right. My mother and godfather had just passed away, I was just about ready to bail on the pool hall I had just put six years into and I was real busy trying to punch my own ticket, self medicating with all the worst substances. I vaguely remember him coming to this shit hole basement room I was living in at the time on the side of the pool hall. I was asleep at 3:00 in the afternoon and Joey was knocking at my door. To make a long story short… I just blew him off. The next time I saw him we were working in the factory together a year or so later, we talked about a small recording studio he had put together at this apartment. He offered me ten dollars an hour and all the beans I could eat to go and lay down some guitar tracks. As we left the mill that night to start recording, Joey’s 'soon to be' girlfriend, Amanda asked us where we ...
| | Pantones Inside The Sun's Wild Flame CD (2009)
Tranzmutation CD music
$16.45 “Inside the Sun’s Wild Flame” is the newest album from The Pantones, a cohesive cadre of songs heavy with rock and roll rhythms, precocious guitars, and brit-pop melodies. The same great song writing that critics noted in “Sleepless Nights, Silent Mornings” is still present, but is complemented here with more lavish arrangements, smart guitars, and a keen sense of the back beat.Written while Matthew Carlson (vocals, guitars), David Baldwin ...
