Think You've SEEN Buddy Rich?
This may be the definitive Buddy Rich live performance. I own all of the other available BR concerts DVDs, but to me this one really shows off his ensemble perfection and his monstrous chops the best.

Why Buddy "was" The World's Greatest Drummer
If ever there was a demonstration to prove (as if he needed it) why he was called The World's Greatest Drummer, the Jazz Icons DVD of Buddy Rich at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland on July 14, 1978 is the one that would do it.

Really great DVD,from start to finish. I was lucky enough to see Buddy and his band giving a superb live performance at Ronnie Scott's around this time,and this is even better than that.
