Freddie Mercury - Lover Of Live Singer Of Songs DVD On the occasion of what would have been the Queen frontman's 60th Birthday, this 2DVD collection presents a complete audio and video portrait of the late icon. DVD1 features the documentary "The Untold Story" that focuses on Mercury the man, the singer and public figure, augmented with a featurette on the making of the documentary with footage that didn't make the final cut. DVD2 presents all of Mercury's solo promotional videos along with 3 bonus videos. The disc features separate audio tracks with commentary about the songs and videos by Mercury and another by the respective video directors. In addition, it has 2 featurettes about the unveiling of a statue of Mercury in Montreux, Switzerland as well as Mercury's last, completely unedited interview, an interactive photo gallery of a Mercury photo exhibition.

Despite being the principal songwriter and sound architect for Fleetwood Mac, one of the biggest selling pop/rock bands in music history, Lindsey Buckingham's standing as "pop genius" has always been a topic of debate amongst rock musos. UNDER THE SKIN (2006), Buckingham's first solo album in nearly 15 years, contains all of the hallmarks of the artist's singular approach and presents a solid illustration of his musical brilliance. A studio scientist if there ever was one, Buckingham surrounds his acoustic-based songs (many of which hint at the aforementioned discussion over his legacy) with the same pristine, near-compulsively textured production that made "Second Hand News" and "Monday Morning" such revelations. Gary Winick (THIRTEEN GOING ON 30) had a lot to live up to in remaking a beloved children's movie, itself based on the classic novel by E. B. White, but this 2006 live-action version more than fulfills its promise. With droll '50s-inspired art direction, low-key and earnest performances, and the cutest ensemble cast of farm animals since BABE, Winick maintains the deeply moral (though not moralistic) themes of the original novel and also injects some mild humor and scenes of peril and adventure.
