$9.69 A psychological thriller that glides on the gossamer threads of dream and interpersonal connection, STAY recalls MEMENTO and THE SIXTH SENSE in both its intensity and its ability to keep the audience guessing. Sam Foster (Ewan McGregor) is a young psychiatrist who is filling in for a colleague on leave. Among his new patients is Henry Letham (a brooding Ryan Gosling), a young art student who hears voices and is seriously contemplating suicide. This resonates strongly with Sam, who rescued his painter girlfriend, Lila (Naomi Watts), from a wrist-slashing. The extremely volatile Henry begins to threaten Sam's hold on his own sanity, as he races against time to figure out the truth about Henry's past, the source of his troubles, and the cause of the seemingly unexplainable things that are happening to both of them. Sam investigates the ghostly figures of Henry's life, including Athena (Elizabeth ...

$62.55 This director-approved special edition Criterion Collection contains four performance films by legendary documentary filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker from the unforgettable 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. Titles included are MONTEREY POP, JIMI PLAYS MONTEREY, SHAKE! OTIS AT MONTEREY, and MONTEREY POP: THE OUTTAKE PERFORMANCES.
MONTEREY POP: This documentary features live performances, behind-the-scenes and audience footage, and other selections from the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, which was considered to be the forerunner to Woodstock. The concert was organized by Alan Pariser, an L.A. rock scenester; John Phillips, singer for the Mamas and the Papas; and Lou Adler, a record producer, along with a board of musicians such as Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Donovan, Brian Wilson, and Smokey Robinson. Performers include Simon and Garfunkel, Ravi Shankar, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, the Who, and Jefferson Airplane, among many others.
JIMI PLAYS MONTEREY: A filmmaking legend meets a rock legend in this fantastic historical concert video. Documentarian D.A. Pennebaker captures master guitarist Jimi Hendrix on film at what has become one of his most renowned performances. Most fans will recognize the image that has produced a thousand posters--the red-and-orange-clad Jimi passionately setting his guitar on fire and watching it burn, with an exultant look on his face. More than just a concert film, JIMI PLAYS MONTEREY is an iconic record of 1960s rock.
SHAKE! OTIS AT MONTEREY: Pennebaker captures Otis Redding in his prime at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, performing such hits as "Try a Little Tenderness," "Shake," "Respect," "Satisfaction," and "I've Been Loving You Too Long."
MONTEREY POP: THE OUTTAKE PERFORMANCES: This rock document features more than two hours of performances not included ...

287TH Hour DVD
$9.09 Coming off the series finale of FRIENDS, Jennifer Aniston sets out to prove herself a serious actress with DERAILED, a tense thriller that is anything but funny. While the film gives most of its screen time to Clive Owen, Aniston proves, as in THE GOOD GIRL, that she is capable of pulling off a dramatic role. Meeting on a commuter train one morning in Chicago, ad executive Charles (Owen) and financial analyst Lucinda (Aniston) have an immediate connection. Worn down by his job, strained marriage, and a sick child, Charles finds himself drawn to the escape Lucinda can offer. A lunch meeting, followed by dinner and drinks, leads the way to a rendezvous in a sleazy motel, where no sooner have the adulterous lovebirds ripped each other's clothes off than a sadistic thief (Vincent Cassel) breaks into the room and puts them through hours of nightmarish horror. Because of their relationship's illicit nature, the two are unable ...
