If you´re looking for some real metal music in the likes of Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, Pantera, Hatebreed, In Flames etc.. Look no Further! From Iceland comes one of the heaviest, ugliest, loudest and most brutal bands they have got to offer. Pure intensity and raw energy are the key elements in our music and what our fans have come to expect!Hostile is:Asgeir - VocalsJonni - GuitarArmann - BassVilhelm - GuitarElvar - Drums-------The StoryThe story behind Hostile started on a dark and rainy night in 2004. 2 handsome men met in an old fishing parlor down by the harborin ReykjavÃk. They were on a quest for what they thougt was missingin the Icelandic music landscape!A band that could play heavy and fast but still be catchy and fun. They immidiately started searching for the right people to join the band. It took almost 1 and a half year but all of the bad auditions wereworth it! Jonni and Elvar were able to find :Bassplayer with a temper of a Sealion,a nose for trouble, and an healty appetite for alcohol. A man we would come to call the model. Singer with some unresolved issues and a problem with going to rehearsals. The man we call 'The Diva'. And finally a guitar player with fingers fast and acurate as a computer and the laughter of an insane cartoon caracter. When the formation of the band was completed then it was the formality of writing some songs. It was a difficult process since no one in the band could stand the smell of eachother but somehow they were able to create some killer music with as much anger to the world as they had for one another. Playing the local bar scene didn´t seem so dumb since most of the members spend more time there then at their homes. It didn´t take long for the people in Iceland to take notice and Hostile was playing almost everywhere where metalheads are able to get together without getting a tan treatment. Places like Grand Rokk, Eistnaflug, TÞM, Bar 11. Then Elvar, but not without a severe hangover, came with an idea of going to the studio and record a small portion of the songs they had written. They had written so their fans would be able to hear something from the band. In april 2006 they put 2 songs of their self titled album on hostile.is and their myspace site myspace /hostiletheband , and immidiately started to get noticed by fellow metalheads around the world. So is the Story of Hostile---- Hostile Songs | 1. | Intro |

| | Halford III: Winter Songs CD (2009) Special Edition; Digipak
Hostile CD music
$13.75 At first glance, Halford's entry into the crowded holiday market looks like a parody. Heavy metal and Christmas make for strange bedfellows, and WINTER SONGS' pastoral cover art -- which depicts Rob Halford staring wistfully (with a goatee and shades) into a soft, snowy pine forest -- screams Spinal Tap. That said, the Judas Priest frontman approaches yuletide standards like "We Three Kings" and "What Child Is This?" with the same conviction that he applied to Priest classics like "Electric Eye" and "Freewheel Burning" -- it probably ...

For die-hard fans of the metal band (or those soon to be converts), this mammoth collection features more than eight hours of concert footage. | | Kid Rock Devil Without A Cause CD (1998)
Hostile songs
$10.75 In the grand tradition of Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. genre-hopper Kid Rock chooses to lay down his raps over a bed of rock-oriented electric guitar riffs instead of traditional hip-hop tracks and beats. Unlike the aforementioned groups though, Kid Rock comes off more like an adventurous hip-hopper than a rocker with a Public Enemy jones. In an effort to prove himself as "street" as his ...
| | Dream Theater Train Of Thought CD (2003)
Hostile album
$11.05 TRAIN OF THOUGHT continues the legacy of the progressive metal legends, with all the requisite superhuman metallic musicianship that their fans have come to expect. This outing continues in the heavier mode that began with 2002's SIX DEGREES OF INNER TURBULENCE, reaching even further into darker, personal lyrical themes.
Guitars are the dominant expressive voice here, with keyboards scaled considerably back from the signature Dream Theater sound. Band members Mike Portnoy (drums) and John Petrucci (guitar) continue their do-it-yourself production approach, opting for recording venues on their native Long Island (much of the band's album work has taken place in upstate New York at Bear Tracks and Little Bear Studios). "As I Am" and "This Dying Soul" at times borrow generously from Metallica, featuring that band's well-known use of tri-tones, and vocalist James LaBrie even tries his hat at some Hetfield-isms. Possibly due to Petrucci's tenure on the G3 Tour (with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai), TRAIN finds him returning to Dream Theater wielding an even more lethal guitar soloing style. Of all the new tracks, the instrumental "Stream of Consciousness" sounds in closest proximity to the band's earlier material, and, for longtime fans, this bodes well for their future efforts.
2003 progressive ...
| | Savatage Hall Of The Mountain King CD (1987)
Hostile CD music
$8.39 With band members, critics, and fans unhappy with the commercialism of Fight for the Rock, Savatage began to disintegrate. However the new found acquaintance of producer Paul O'Neill not only changed the group's fortunes but soon pointed them in new directions. O'Neill, who was looking for a metal band to record some of his musical ideas, agreed to produce the group's next album, which became Hall of the Mountain King. A return to the form of Dungeons Are Calling, Hall of the Mountain King was the great album the band had always threatened to make. Featuring blistering guitar riffs, numerous tempo changes, and over-the-top screeching vocals, Savatage were finally captured by decent production after two albums of attempts to put a pop sheen on their music. Returning mostly to dark fantasy subject matter, "Devastation," "Legions," and the epic title track sounded more confident and tighter than anything on their previous two records, featuring dynamic rhythms courtesy of bassist Middleton and drummer Wacholz. The catchy pop-metal of "Strange Wings" was ironically a better song than any of the band's more blatant attempts ...
| | Abstraxt Next Victim CD (2006)
Hostile music CDs
$12.69 ABstraXT is a Cambridge, Maryland based Hip-Hop/Rock band that has its own distinct sound by mixing Rock/Metal with True Hip-Hop style lyrics. The name ABstraXT comes from the word "abstract" meaning no direction. Although ABstraXT's main M.O. is Hip Hop/Rock, they follow no format in writing their music. ABstraXT uses what ever they feel is needed to get their point across including DJ Scratches/Samples/Live Guitars/Live Bass/Hip-Hop Lyrics/Harmonies and Live Drums all directed to an IN YOUR FACE style of music. ABstraXT was formed in early May 2001 by five accomplished musicians, each of them known for their technical prowess and soulful approach to their chosen instrument. After recording multiple demos both at home and in New York City sessions began for their debut full length CD entitled 'Bring The Pain' in the fall of 2002. While recording ABstraXT was steady promoting the band over the Internet and by word of mouth. This led to the band being offered a record deal with a New York based Entertainment Company. After many negotiations the band decided to turn down the deal and do things their way. This led to the creation of an Independant Record Label, DirtyShore Records, as well as a publishing company entitled Wrenched Ankle Publishing. A full line of merchandise was also created including T-shirts, hats, hoodies and other ...
