Neil Carswell is an undefined amazement in rock vocals. - Ear BuzzCarswell’s voice is powerful with a better than average range and the band has a great live energy even on the studio cuts. I would call it old-school metal with a southern attitude. The live versions of “Whiskey” and “Born Loser” stand out and their version of “Drift Away” certainly should have been the one to get the air play rather than that other fella’s… - -Jimmy Williams, Gritz – Digital Southern Music Magazine (read the full review)NEWS RELEASE2/20/08How would you like to be a part of a new Southern rock CD? Copperhead album
$11.99 This is a collection of Spanish and American songs by Queen's lead singer Freddie Mercury and opera singer Montserrat Caballe.
With Barcelona, Queen singer Freddie Mercury realized his long-lived dream of performing with an opera singer; in this case, Montserrat Caballe. While it's certainly a treat for any fan of Mercury's to hear this album, it's a difficult record to recommend. So it’s only fitting that when you merge the two into one musical metropolis you get I-94, three English ex-pats and a L.A. musician, who take songwriting to new levels. The quartet is back on the scene with a new record, BITS AND PARTS, which is packed tight with songs that would sound great coming out of your car speakers, computer, iPod, or wherever, right next to U2, Snow Patrol, Lifehouse, Coldplay and Switchfoot. i-94’s previous albums, “Don’t Get Nervous” and "CONTROL" had 2 top 5 hits on Yahoo’s Launch Cast Radio in 2005 and early 2006-7 on the Adult Alternative station with “Go Back In Time” and “Not Alone” (reached 3) and their single "Somewhere Else" from their CONTROL album recieved a great responce from internet radio. Above artists such as Rob Thomas, Maroon 5, Coldplay, Collective Soul, Nickelback, Three Doors Down, Fall Out boy and lifehouse. i-94 followed “Don’t Get Nervous” with an acoustic cd, “Acoustic Sessions” released in summer 2006, also available on Cdbaby.com and iTunes. They followed that with a third album "CONTROL". The single "Somewhere else" from that album was in the top ten songs of the international song writing competition, above hundreds of thousands of song entries. It was also nominated for this years LA music awards,"best group with vocal". Hollywood has taken notice. The foursome’s songwriting has caught the attention of many Music Supervisors. Among the movies and TV series that have featured the songs of i-94 are, “Men In Tress” (ABC), MTV’s “Laguna Beach”, “The Hills”, “Road Rules” and “Road Rules Challenge” (the band is now featured on MTV.com), A & E’s “Roller Girls”, National Lampoon’s “Half Baked”, ABC’s “Cutting Edge 2”, TLC’s “LA Riding Club”, Showtime’s “Reversal Of Fortune”, “Smallville,” “Six Feet Under,” “Without A Trace”,” “Crossing Jordan,” Major movies and Lifetime TV movies. While the band is thankful to have the support of Hollywood and to see their music on the big and little screen so much, they also love to see fans discover i-94 in their natural habitat: on stage. On their new record, "Bits and Parts", i-94 reveals the full ...
