| Heart Food soothes the Soul
This second release by Judee Sill is a wonderful showcase of her sound. The original versions of "Soldier of the Heart", "The Phoenix" and "The Vigilante" are superb.

| Judee Sill almost forgoten
I had this on vynil when it first came out and loved it then,I tried searching online for anything about her and did not even realise she was dead!its a shame, she wrote great songs,made great records, enjoyed remembering her with this cd.

| haunting vocals
her initial cd is more sparse; this is has a fuller sound but the vocals is what carries this album. Her voice is simple but unforgetable.
