| | Gene Autry Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer CD Gene Autry Discography of CDs
(2 Customer Reviews)
Included in this pleasant Christmas record by one of America's greatest and most beloved entertainers are 12 holiday classics rendered in Autry's classic cowboy style, almost always to fine effect. He is backed by a fine orchestra and chorus (arranged by Carl Cotner) who swing through the numbers with Autry in an infectious style. This is a great (if long-lost) holiday classic. ~ Matthew Greenwald Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Music Gene Autry Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Songs Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Music Review Buy Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer CD Purchase Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Mitch Miller Holiday Sing Along With Mitch CD (1961)

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer album
$8.29 Chances are that when Andy Williams released his first holiday album in 1963, he had no idea that his name would soon become synonymous with Christmas. The success of the album along with his Christmas television specials became traditional listening and viewing for many families in the years (and even decades) that followed. In 1965, Williams further enhanced his "Mr. Christmas" moniker by releasing a second seasonal collection, Merry ...

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer CD music
$8.25 Popular songs are often associated with the vocalists that made them famous but few artists actually have the distinction of having a "theme" song along the lines of Bob Hope with "Thanks for the Memories." Even fewer can claim to have two theme songs attached to them and Andy Williams is one of those fortunate stars. After "Moon River" became forever linked to Williams, he recorded a holiday song for his first Christmas album that gave him ...

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer songs
$13.69 Marc Hoffman's music, whether symphonic, pop vocal or commercial, is known for its eclecticism. At times pastoral and reminiscent of the "Americana" of the mid-20th century, his concert works can also be quite dissonant. His popular music styles range from contemporary Christian to synth pop.Marc was born in Salisbury, NC, received a degree in composition from the North Carolina School of the Arts, and did additional study in film composition at USC. Prior to attending NCSA he studied voice, composition and piano at Pfeiffer University. He received a scholarship through the NC School of the Arts Foundation to spend a summer studying at The Dartington International Summer School of Music in Devon, England. His composition teachers have included Sherwood Shaffer, David Ott, Leo Arnaud, Neil Hefti, Bruce Broughton and Fred Steiner. He is a member of BMI and the American Composer's Forum.Marc's Homeland for orchestra has been well-received over the past 15 years. The solo piano piece, "Middle Earth" was premiered in the U.S. by the composer. A U.K. performance followed by pianist Andrew Ball. Of the U.K. performance, The London Guardian said, "...the Hollywood impression's of Marc Hoffman's ...

| | John McCormick Farthest Field CD (2009)
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer CD music
$18.99 John McCormick is a modern minstrel with gentle wit, sensitive vocals, and wicked guitar skills. He has mastered the intricate styles of the American, Irish, Scottish and English folk traditions while developing a rich, resonant and wonderfully expressive voice. John regularly performs throughout Europe and North America. He has recorded seven albums and CDs on the Phantom Records label."He spins tales with the command of a fine storyteller." (Seattle Victory News)John McCormick was born and raised in Indianapolis. While studying philosophy at Ancilla College, he met Gordon Burnham and Bob Beaser, two exquisite pickers from Kalamazoo, Michigan. They inspired him to take up the acoustic guitar. He landed in San Francisco in the early Seventies, where the music scene was thriving. More auspicious meetings followed. He met his first teacher, Alan Rice, through an advert in a local rag which offered used household appliances, and as an afterthought, "Jansch and Renbourn style guitar instruction". Eventually, Al steered him to a meeting with Duck Baker, who became another mentor. As the Eighties approached, John took advantage of the unworldly and lonesome hours of a railroad brakeman by simply playing in all the wee hours and listening to newer influences, John Martyn, James Taylor, Nick Drake and Leo Kottke.Sometime in 1985, John was playing a Happy Hour gig at a comedy club in San Francisco when he was discovered by Alex de Grassi, who had stopped by for coffee and madeleines. This chance meeting led to his first recording, Western Island. This guitar--focused ...
