As their Music evolves, so does their DVD quality. From WLH DVD to this, the camera work and detail of this production is clearly superior to previous PMG DVD's. The music, well, speaks for itself now, doesnt it.

Together with long time collaborator and keyboard player Lyle Mays, he founded the Pat Metheny Group in 1978. Instantly successful, they have established themselves at the forefront of jazz-rock fusion with a succession of best selling albums and sellout world tours. This new DVD, filmed in late 2005, features the full concert version of his most recent album, THE WAY UP, which earned the Pat Metheny Group their 10th Grammy Award and Metheny personally his 17th.

Legendary pianist Chick Corea remains a towering figure in the world of jazz music, first as a keyboard player for Miles Davis during the trumpeter's groundbreaking BITCHES BREW era in the late-'60s, and then as co-founder (with bassist Stanley Clarke) of the seminal jazz-fusion band Return to Forever. This concert film captures the jazz icon performing at the 2004 Montreux Jazz Festival with the Chick Corea Elektric Band, which features Corea on keyboards, John Patitucci on bass, Frank Gambale on guitar, Dave Weckl on drums, and Eddie Marienthal on saxophone.
