This is a re-release of Doug Legacy's 1st album featuring many special guests such as Ry Cooder, David Lindley, Todd Rundgren, Bonnie Raitt, Jim Keltner, Eric Gale, Waddy Wachtel, Van Dyke Parks, the Tubes and many more. Doug Legacy is originally from Houston, Texas but also lived in New Orleans and Arkansas as a child where he acquired a taste for gumbo and delta blues. After a year of classical music education at the University of Texas he became a member of the Houston Symphony Chorale. While living in the Montrose area of Houston he formed the "Montrose Marching Band" which eventually took him to California to win "The Gong Show". Doug then hooked up with Rod Stewart to play steel drums on a European tour, which was followed by a tour with Delbert McClinton playing piano and organ. He later toured with bands such as E.L.O., Jackson Browne, Billy Joel, Rikki Lee Jones, Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Nicks, Bruce Hornsby, Joe Cocker and The Tubes.
