I have watched them grow and promote themselves vigorously. With the proper guidance and the intense work ethic, which they already possess, I see nowhere else for this band to gobut up. Prayata is an asset to anyone fortunate enough to work with them.â€Bill Terrell, Infexious Recordz “True Denver rock-n-roll. Prayata songs
$8.49 At this stage of her career Mariah Carey does not need to prove herself, but her voice is so powerful that with each new recording she, once again, reminds you: "Listen to what I can do." Vocal gymnastics and Christmas songs are not often thought of as a compatible combination, but on MERRY CHRISTMAS Mariah jumps, climbs, crawls, twirls and dashes her way through both traditional fare and original Christmas songs.
She shifts through styles, offering fans from all musical camps a gift of their own. Her "Silent Night" shows off a studied vocalization where liquid phrasing is key. "Miss You Most (At Christmas Time)" shows off a dynamic voice that is hard to match. She has fun with the Phil Spector goodie "Christmas (Baby Please ...
| | Rammstein Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da CDs (2009) Bonus Tracks; Deluxe Edition; Digipak
Prayata album
$17.79 Anyone familiar with the industrial-metal band's dark sense of irony should take one look at the title of Rammstein's 2009 album LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA ("Love Is There For Everyone") and conclude that this one is a mean monster. Combining the tightness and punch of their 1998 album SEHNSUCHT with the musicianship and elaborate textures of their later work, LIEBE IST is a grand achievement, skillfully dividing its time between razor sharp metal rockers like "B********" or the opening theme song "Rammlied" and nostalgic, cabaret pieces that conjure the spirits of Weil and Brecht at a goth club. Best of the latter is the naked and haunting closer "Roter Sand" but little touches of a sinister yesteryear ...
| | Lady Gaga Fame Monster CDs (2009) Deluxe Edition
Prayata CD music
$16.44 Initially planned solely as a standard double-disc reissue in the wake of the blockbuster success of The Fame, Lady Gaga decided to release the new material as a separate EP called The Fame Monster in addition to the standard two-CD set, where it's tacked onto a now standardized version of her debut. It's a nice move for fans, plus it helps emphasize the new material, which does act as a bridge from the debut to a forthcoming full-length. Everything on The Fame Monster bears a galvanized Eurotrash finish, as evident on the heavy steel synths of "Bad Romance" and the updated ABBA revision "Alejandro," as it is on the rock & roll ballad "Speechless" -- its big guitars lifted from Noel Gallagher -- and the wonderful, perverse march "Teeth." Even the stuttering splices on "Telephone," a duet with Beyoncé, leans to the other side of the Atlantic, which just emphasizes the otherness ...

| | Big Vinny & The Cattle Thieves Addiction & Subtraction CD (2007)
Prayata album
$9.35 Maximum Rock n Roll #270 November 2005Big Vinny and The CattleThieves - "I Was a Teenage Premature Ejaculator" EPNo, I didn't make that title up and no, this isn't pop punk. It's your basic rude, gonowhere, mid-tempo punk that may or may not peak your snotty interest. The hard rock tinges to the title track don't help, but all is nearly saved by the appearance of primitive drum machine/synth on "Black and Blue." They close with a GG ALLIN cover. I trust you get the point. A possible connection to the WONGS is hinted at in the sleeve notes and the blue 'n' black splatter vinyl is sure easy on the eyes. Beyond that...eh. (MC)Razorcake #28Big Vinny & The CattleThieves - "I Was a Teenage Premature Ejaculator" EPIf GG Allin never wrote a romantic ballad to his dick (and I'm not sure if he didn't) and how his too-tender mushroom cap failed him, Big Vinny's written it for him, years after GG's demise, and the world's a better place. It's the title track. Actually, the two originals on this 7" remind me of GG's country work: laid-back in it's own filth, heavy-drinking, self-depreciating, torn-throat and better than it should be. The third song's a GG cover, "Sister Sodomy," so they weren't working in a vacuum. Not essential, but oddly enjoyable. -ToddPhoenix New Times February 23 - March 1, 2006 ShrapnelBig Vinny and The CattleThieves "I Was Teenage Premature Ejaculator" 7 in.Here's a band that could easily contribute to the soundtrack that G.G. Allin, Stiv Bators and Johnny Thunders are probably making in Punk Rock Hell. Big Vinny & the Cattle Thieves sound like old-school gutterpunks, spewing about anal rape and violence from a graffiti-covered garage. "I Was a Teenage Premature Ejaculator" is about as close as the raucous trio gets to a ballad, as Big Vinny laments his loveless formative years: "I was a two-punk chump/ Like they would say/ I was premature/ I was teenaged." The B-side of the record contains two equally offensive tracks, which is impressive considering that one track is an original song. "Black and Blue," and the other is a cover of puke pariah G.G. Allin's "Sister Sodomy." Something about the song "Black and Blue," ...
| | Frank Horvat I'll Be Good CD (2007)
Prayata CD music
$13.29 The original music of Frank Horvat is influenced by the post-modern idea of eclecticism. His portfolio of compositions demonstrates a variety of musical styles, even combined within one work. This is evident from his influences: From Bach to Beethoven to Bartók to Bjork, folk musics from around the world, jazz & blues, minimalism. His compositions have been based on real world themes such as social issues, family, athletic pursuits, September 11 and sometimes just a catchy little riff. For Frank, creative new music does not have ...
