their relatively new songs such as can't stop and break free were played beautifully, while their much older songs were alone still great, but had more potential of being the best.

I was at the 7 july show. Great mix of song, some new one...
I am a big fan and i have 10 or more DMB show in dvd and cd. If you are new to DMB, i would recommend the Central Park concert, but this boston show is a must for every DMB fan. (sorry for my english i speak french)

DMB at their Best!
These CD's are the best DMB CD's I own. It is a perfect mix of old and new songs. Four CD's of live Dave could never be bad!

After issuing three consecutive studio double LPs, Chicago topped themselves with this four-album live box set. As the title suggests, At Carnegie Hall, Vols. 1-4 (Chicago IV) (1971) finds the band at the venerable New York City venue during a five-night stand (April 5-April 10) in the spring of 1971. The septet -- which includes the respective talents of Terry Kath (lead guitar/vocals), Robert Lamm (keyboards/vocals), Peter Cetera (bass/vocals), Danny Seraphine (drums), Lee Loughnane (trumpet/vocals), James Pankow (trombone), and Walter Parazaider (woodwinds/vocals) -- were at their unquestionable peak of initial popularity. Detroit's Cobo Hall on May 8, 1970, is the setting for Live in Detroit, the first complete concert performance on the Doors' own Bright Midnight label. This is the Doors the way they deserve to be remembered -- tight and overtly bluesy. However, that oversimplification unfairly discounts the multiple sonic detours made along the way. Strange but true, this is the very first complete concert recording by the Doors to be offered for mass consumption -- allowing for some poetic justice. Live in Detroit is an initial step in removing the rumor and innuendo regarding Jim Morrison's loss of ability to perform on stage -- with the threat of an impending legal trial.
