The Best Ever... It`s great live album, one of the best in Hard Rock History (in my opinion). The band`s best lineup. This album contains the best tracks from his first two albums. Japan release contains 15 tracks (full show !!!). Sound quality - five stars. Packaging -(TOPC-65820-21,Lp. sleeve) - five stars. By Robert (Wethersfield,CT,USA)
A great live album One Night At Bodokan is one of the most under appreciated unrecognized live albums ever. This is a top notch cd as far as mucianship goes . It has Michael Schenker (of course) , whose guitar playing is as close to perfect as it gets and the amazing Cozy Powell on drums . From start to finish they both show how great they are . This is the remastered version and I gotta say it is the best remastering I have heard. This may sound odd but it the best way I can describe it , you hear every instrument seperately , each stands out perfectly , but it blends together perfectly . If you are a MSG fan or a fan of great guitar playing , then this is a must have . Buy it , crank it , enjoy it ! By sabbathpurple (Long Island , NY) This review is for a different format.
Yeah! Finally remastered! This is one of the best live albums of the era.... and now in it's complete form. By Mark (Minnesota) This review is for a different format.
one of all time best This is IMO the best live album from Michael. It sounds very tight and really ROCKS! (also is perfectly produced) Cozy’s work on drums is remarkable as ever, Gary Barden do the singing much better than the latest “Rock Will Never Die” and Michael plays like hell. I can recommend this stuff to every old school rock fan. (personally I prefer Japanese 2 CD edition with two extra tracks) By Anatoli (Bourgas, BG) This review is for a different format.
Ignore the first review below!! This is a classic live album, but maybe you had to be around at the time (vinyl days!!) to appreciate it more. A classic line up with great songs, and as a drummer I can say there's sod all wrong with the great Cozy Powell's drum sound or playing. He suffered at the hands of Ron Nevison on a few studio albums but certainly not this live effort!!Brilliant By mikey.rees (Wiltshire, UK) This review is for a different format.
