great dub album
I'm not much of a dub listener but after listening to all these track I know my music tastes lay elsewhere. Cruisey sounds to kick back too, you feel content after listening to all the songs.. highly recommended. Don't forget to check out Salmonella Dub & Tiki Taane albums. Genuine kiwi hi quality stuff. Spread the word about these artists.

One of the BEST Albums for 06
A fusion of dub and reggae, with fresh feeling, a totally new sound sourced from New Zealand, so it has a Pacific feel to it. A totally listenable album from start to finish, you can chill out to some tracks and groove on the dancefloor with others!

incredible
this could be reggae's bridge from bob marley to the present. fat freddy's drop is other-world music that transcends space and time. this is very necesary music, in my opinion.

Downbeatin' free flowin' Kiwi Vibe
Won Best Album in Gilles Peterson's BBC show, and deserved it thoroughly. These guy's don't promote themselves, but word of mouth alone has them placed as perhaps NZ's biggest selling band of recent times. I am yet to find someone who doesn't enjoy this record. They also have a bitchin' live performance if you get the chance...

Soul Reggae at its best
I discovered this band live and jah these guys skank. They completely took the room by storm. This album whilst not as powerful as the concert I went to, goes some way to show the incredible passion some of these young roots reggae bands have(thinking about Groundadtion there). The absolutely fine soul voice of their singer is heavenly. This works as good as a backing tune at a dinner party or as dancing to at a real one.
