Best American metal band, period. The fact that you can get the best album, Sounds of the animal kingdom, which by itself is worth the price of admission, along with kill trend suicide, well slap me silly, sally. You can get nothing better than Lilker, whom I see the fourth band, sod, was overlooked,and malformed earthborn anybody, but stay focused they tell me, grinding to the Hoak assault along with burn gurn?, burn, shredding a guitar as only he can, and does. Yeah, sharp vocals are what they are,sweet and stuff, but it's all about the music, man, and this one will take your face off cleanly and precisely. This band, and this album extended my sanity for a little while longer, and bless them for it, though ultimately it was a losing battle. While Napalm Death are the godfathers of grind, the Brutal Truth did America right, and the world for that matter. So to summarize, until Dan the man decides to grace us with another insane project, this is a can't go wrong listen, everytime! Exit-13, stage right.
