Campy like the original comic book, and just as fun.
Some people complained about the excess of humour and campyness of this adaptation. Well, duh. That's pretty much like the original Kirby/Lee creations, with some equally ridiculous moments (does anyone remembers "Pirate Thing"?); the sophistication of the characters came much, much later.

I have always been a diehard comic book movie fan. I loved the superman and batman movies and within the past five years the marvel superhero movies.
