ABOUT THE ORIGINAL DISC:Grey says, "I began writing songs in 1981 while in high school. The songs have changed some since written and I have often debated the various forms of them I have created but these are the shapes I found to represent them the best. I was living in Toulouse, France at the time that I originally recorded Colours. I met Yvan M. when I moved to Toulouse and he needed someone to sing in English for his Milo project. It was Yvan and J.C. that gave alot of their time and effort to put the 10 songs down into a working format." All songs written by Grey. Original recording, Produced and Engineered by Grey & "Doc" Mirouse. Recorded & Mixed during the Summer & Fall 1993 at Studio Queenriver and at Filataires' Cellar in Toulouse France.ABOUT THE CURRENT VERSION:Re-recorded in 2004 with musicians Jason Harbour, Mikey Harbour, Kevin Bunch, and Steve Harwood at Grey Havens Studios. Mixed and Mastered at Db Studios with Dave Skinner. BIOGRAPHY:written by D. Lang & GreyGrey blends the psychedelic, progressive, acoustic, and alternative stylings of Rush, Yes, the Beatles, the Doors, and Pink floyd to create a unique rock and pop sound sometimes compared to that of Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Phish, and David Bowie. He has released the following CDs: Words & Music, Grey's Christmas Memories, Anamnesis, Rock & Pop, Colours, Faded Colours, Faded Colours II, and these now out-of-print live recordings: Live at Pegasys, and Acoustic Grey. Grey began writing songs in 1981 while still a high school student. He played in the band Elixir that opened for Ritchie Havens at the Myriad in 1983. He later played in the Blithering Idiots while stationed in Germany in the late 80's, early 90's.
