Reggae Tribute To Sean Paul album
$9.05 This is an enhanced audio CD which contains regular audio tracks & multimedia computer files.
This extra long CD showcases popular dancehall "riddims" overlaid with DJ Sean Paul's rather pedestrian "toasting." Since he possesses neither an unusual voice nor outstanding skill, this CD ...
| | The Jacksons CD (1976)
Reggae Tribute To Sean Paul CD music
$6.89 For their first release on Epic Records after leaving Motown and Berry Gordy behind, the newly re-christened Jacksons shuffled brothers, as Jermaine left to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Randy, a younger, yet-unseen brother. After a phenomenally successful seven years as the Jackson Five, the group's second incarnation released its eponymous debut album in 1976, helmed by songwriter/producers Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff.
THE JACKSONS finds the group at an interesting crossroads. As the Jackson 5, they were able to kick up a youthful ruckus with their music but here seem to be undergoing growing pains. They succeed mostly by grafting ...

| | Z-Ro Cocaine CD (2009)
Reggae Tribute To Sean Paul songs
$15.05 Despite his status as one of hip-hop's most prolific artists, Z-Ro never quite spreads himself too thin. The provocatively titled COCAINE is his second release from 2009, and features his trademark self-aware, yet rapier-sharp lyrics over some of the hotter beats out of the fertile Houston scene. The Intro skilfully sets out the landscape as the dark-vocaled MC reflects upon his choice of a life of street dealing without a shred of remorse, while stressing his decision was not exactly the wise one. From there, Z-Ro, an expert storyteller, wanders from tale to tale, each one delivered with a novelist's touch, on a record which somehow transcends cookie-cutter.
In 2009, Z-Ro's loyal fan base expected Heroin, a two-CD set announced the previous year, but instead they got Cocaine, a one-CD version with many songs that already appeared on the mixtape Codeine. Confusing, and rumors of the rapper's difficulties with the Rap-A-Lot label top it all off, but the good news is that Cocaine is no great disappointment. It does feel a bit disjointed and perhaps cobbled together from tracks recorded for the mythological Heroin, but fans of the rapper spend enough time in the mixtape world that any semi-sensibly laid-out Z-Ro release ...
| | Snoop Dogg Malice N Wonderland CD (2009)
Reggae Tribute To Sean Paul album
$12.54 On his tenth album (and first as the chairman of Priority Records), Snoop Dogg continues to prove he's not a relic of the G-funk era, proving that while the music may change, good flow never goes out of style. Right out of the gate, Snoop drops a song for the West Coast Jerkin' set with "I Wanna Rock" before switching gears back to classic Snoop with the Dre-inspired "2 Minute Warning," where the rapper lets everyone know he's still the same Snoop Dogg after all these years as he proclaims, "Ponytail still swingin', hair still braided/Laker to a Clipper I won't be faded." With production by Lil Jon, Timbaland, Danjahandz, Battlecat, and the Neptunes (just to name a handful), it's no wonder the album sounds like not only a retrospective of every stage of his career, but of the trends in rap music as a whole. With the album touching on his G-funk beginnings with "Secrets," crunk on the Lil Jon-produced "1800," the Dirty South on the Soulja Boy collaboration "Pronto," and his time on the Neptunes-fronted ...

| | Dionne Warwick Here I Am CD (1965)
Reggae Tribute To Sean Paul album
$10.45 Perhaps one of the most assured of the collaborations between the songwriting and production team of Bacharach and David and their singer of choice Dionne Warwick, this 1965 set is a masterful balance of nuanced production and inspired performance. "Here I Am" is a simply orchestrated yet exquisite recording, and "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" is pure '60s sophistication, while the lively stop-go arrangement of "How Can I Hurt You" is delightfully playful.
Dionne Warwick's early- and mid-'60s Scepter Records catalog stands as some of her finest and most prolific works in conjunction with the songwriting team of Burt Bacharach ...
