Very well concived/made
This soundtrack by David Arnold is probably the best soundtrack he's composed since Tommorow Never Dies. This soundtrack goes away from your typical tecno soundtrack of the more recent bonds. The soundtrack instead runs towards the more original contemporary bond feel of the original John Barry composer. Plus, this soundtrack is a prequel and can be said that it fits perfectly in front of the fist bond film Dr. No. It doesn't play the acctual bond theme untill the end of the film and the soundtrack making this a lead up to the upcomming sequels that are already out like the Connery films. This soundtrack mixes the sounds of John Barry with a slight modern touch. The only negative which I myself can live with it the lack of the Chris Cornell Theme "You Know my Name" But, if you really want the track you can find it listed on the back of the DVD case on where/which website you can find it. So don't worry. Plus, I'm sure thier going to make another soundtrack with all of the current bond themes in it soon too.

Even if you don't "Know My Name"
Enjoyable soundtrack. One of the better Bond "albums" that I own. Only drawback, as mentioned by others, is the deletion of the title song, "You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell. However, the title song is quite forgetable and lame as I remember it from the movies. But, the principle should still override the decision to cut this mediocre song from the soundtrack. Regardless, I would still strongly recommend this "Bondtrack" to the Bond enthusiasts out there.

Title song - Schmitle-Song!
What does a title of a song have to do with how good the music is. Get a Sharpie and write over the title you hate so much with your obsessive need for the re-name. Lame...LAME!!
